DOGE is the best thing to happen to this country in decades. Talk about cleaning house, this is so over due. Why are the dems so much against this? DOE was a disaster from the get go, after “No Child Left Behind” and Core-4 left us with a couple of generations of idiots you would think everyone would be glad it’s gone. Who in their right mind could possibly support USAID?

Do you have any proof other that Leon's words and a screenshot from the "Wall of Reciepts"? And I wonder how much we will need to bail out our farmers thanks to Trump's tarifs? I bet it's more than we spend at USAID.

Let's see....USAid was gutted because it was a waste to feed kids in Africa, which is wasteful spending. Space X has $20 billion in contracts, $12 billion which has yet to be spent, and the DoD and NASA, two big departments that provide that funding, have already been "audited" and cuts made, but not a dime was cut from Space X, which includes funding to explore building a colony on Mars. If hungry kids in Africa are wasteful spending, the money to research growing food and feeding kids on Mars should be equally wasteful. Also, I'm not sure of the progress that has been made on Leon's recommendation that the $2 billion, 15 year contract to upgrade the ATC system that was awarded in 2023 to Verizon be terminated and given to Starlink instead.

And for those of us who are curious about the methodology used in these audits and a detailed breakdown of these savings only have the DOGE "wall of receipts" to prove anything. This is basically screen shots of computer screens and even some of those aren't available. So no realy proof is available. But we should trust a guy who tells us the Full Self Driving is just 6 months away...as he has done in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. And it's still being beta tested on roads near you.

We have been giving aid to African countries... my whole life.

I am sure we were giving them aid LONG before that.

So let me ask you how much is enough? How long should we give?

Would 200 years satisfy you? Would any amount of time or money satisfy you?

Sooner or later African nations need to become self sufficient and stand on their own two feet and stop being a nonstop welfare case. We owe those people nothing and have already been BEYOND generous. We are TRILLIONS in debt. We can no longer afford to borrow money from China just to give it to Africa.

So 2 questions.... don't you think 50 years of aid (at least) is enough and.... how much is it going to take to satisfy you?

The African nations receiving aid have done NOTHING to help themselves in any way except hold out their hand for our tax dollars. If they want to save their own lives they need to change their ways, and holding their hand out is not going to solve anything for them. It only makes the citizens of the United States broker than we already are.

It's not just food, it is also the aids epidemic. Is it our fault they pass HIV around around like wildfire? If they were to live what most people would define as a traditional marriage with one man and one woman and not have sex outside of the marriage the aids epidemic would resolve itself in a generation, 2 at the most. So we are supposed to fund their self destructive behavior?

You know many broke ass people win the lottery and in two years they are broke again and begging money, you will never give enough to bring them out of poverty because they make piss poor life decisions. That is the definition of most African nations, they make piss poor decisions that hurt their country and expect someone else to fix their problems. Well after decades of help enough is enough.

Labor costs are a big part of the costs....where in the wall of receipts can we find the documentation used to determine who got fired? That website is like full self driving on a Tesla...teh documentation is just 6 months away. As it has been for the past 6 years. It's Elon's genius estimates. I guess that's why I can't find any cuts regarding SpaceX....they need that money because this guy I"m supposed to believe has said he will have a million people on Mars by 2050. That would mean he needs to launch a rocket with 111 people on it every day, 7 days a week from now until 2050 to attain that. But Leon said so. That must be why there wereen't any cuts.

I guess the people on Mars won't have any children in the 25 years included in your calculations.
