Thanks hog. Is it based on 2080 from last year for everyone or is it what you worked up to 2080. In other words if you worked 1500 hours last year is that what they use. Sorry hog, but thanks.

Yeah, looking at it again. Now I`m not so sure. The example I used makes sense to me but it does not exactly reflect what is written in the LOA.

There is no exact formula. If I read it correctly the difference in pay rate for LAA AMTs on Aug.4th and the new rate on Aug.5th will be applied times the hours worked until the new rate is reflected in payroll.

Example
Aug. 5th rate 41.76
Aug. 4th rate 31.93
Difference of 9.83

If the payroll reflects on Nov 5th there are 65 8 hour days in that period (M-F as example) 65 multiplied times 8 hour day is 520 hours multiplied by the amount of raise 9.83.
9.83 times 520 hours = 5111.60
But they are estimating on the time it will be before payroll gets it in your rate of pay and it will be in the look back check if there is a differed in the amount in the initial check.
Better keep track of the amount of the initial check and the actual hours worked until payroll gets the new rate! I mean unless you trust DP.

My base is 32.63 + 5.00 + .55 = 38.18

9.13 diff × 520 hrs

But then theres a raise in sept, not sure how that will figure in.

I would think that occurs anyway which in turn will offset the 520 hr advance.

You must be LUS. And probably why they are taking the route of an initial check. I believe you guys had a change in license premium?

There is no Sept. 2016 raise as the new rate is above that and the 520 hours was an example.
If the pay rate is reflected on say Nov. 15 the hours would be different in my example.

We in fleet don't get that raise in Sept. We get one in Sept 2017 of 2.1 % if no JCBA.

My bad.. your right, that chart is a 9/12/17 structural increase. Not 2016..

My base is 32.63, doing the math from a pay stubb and what is reflected on jetnet pay rate section.

You are correct. I forgot that the industry averaging is not reflected in the contract. The example is the same if you change the base rate.
