I was curious is the lump sum payment coming on August 19th? And in a separate check?

We were told it's going to be a separate additional payment. Approximately 3 weeks from when it was announced. Just go to jetnet payroll from time to time and it should pop up. Until then don't go puttin any money on that new house.

Also, we were told you can special elect it into 401k, avoid taxes and get a company match.

Holy cow, the way some guys are talking this pay raise is the worst thing that has ever happened. I don't understand all the whining. I know it sucks that you have to commute back to Texas, but honestly no one cares, that's your choice. Move your family or get another job in Texas.

That goes for everybody, we are partly to blame for our situation.

TUL not supporting a change of union. ( TUL had theirs, F everybody else)

AFW not supporting one station agreement with DFW (afraid of senior guys taking their weekends)

Turning down 2008 contract extension (TUL, MCI didn't get special protections)

Voting down 2010 TA (it wasn't restore and more)

Local 591 sueing delayed us an additional year, yes they were righteous, but legally dead in the water.

We have too many guys speaking about theory of what should happen, instead of the actualitys of our position, unfortunately these talkers are also the same guys that have to be told to take their tools to a gate call. These same talkers say what other people should do but don't act themselves. What is also unfortunate is these same guys are always the loudest in the room, right before they take a "break" .Fortuantelly these guys are in the minority and I have the privilege of working with some of the most talented mechanics in the industry.

Remember our contract runs until 2018, they don't have to GIVE us a raise, yes it helps with the merger, but AA made over a billion dollars last year status quo.

Heard if your not topped out it's now a 9 year top out
Yes. There are 19 amt in Tulsa(a few more at line stations)that were set to top out at the 32.41 in September. Now with this new deal Aug 5th. They will go to step 5 of 9 and make 28.93.

So while everyone else gets the 22percent raise these guys actually lose $3.48hr with this deal and have to work 4 more years to get their 22percent.

$46.76 is we have been given here in Tulsa.  Tried to copy/paste but can't seem to do it.  As far as I know line pay hasn't been negotiated yet so it's still the same.  Inspector pay is now $49.31 and Crew Chief pay is $48.51.  Again for line you would add line pay to those. Plant Maint. is $44.57 I don't know how they did the math.  If you want you can message me your email address and I will email the thing I got from the local 514 guys.

Wonder why you guys cannot copy and post from the unions web site or updates, Hmmmmm...

You would think someone would have givin out the exact numbers by now.  I read so many different post stating they heard this and that, pay now or later, lump some, or starts from immediate, to Aug 13th, to Nov 2016.  The stupid rumors would stop if someone would post from this asso. what all the numbers are and what "ALL" the gives were that were traded for the raises, such as the all members can work all metal. Is there more involved with these raises that was agreed to?  It really amazes me the lack of communication coming from this asso. Nothing like leaving the membership in the dark.

Agreed. The mushroom treatment is nothing new unfortunately

I imagine it's because both unions (dual unionism) on the property have such a distrust for one another. I know that while I was at AA (in bad standing for promoting dual unionism), what limited info we had was open to the public.

I agree. If it were as simple as wage rates only, then that information should have been shared with the membership immediately. If there are  other issues tied into it, we need to see them. But if the only condition is working each other's metal, I don't have a problem with that as it will have to happen anyway and eventually. This would tie in with the FOS where pilots will be flying each other's metal and crews will be mixed.  Personally I believe there are bigger fish to fry when it comes to our JCBA....Vacation, IOD, medical contribution, holidays and holiday pay and NOT being forced into the IAMNPF. The smaller fish being training by seniority and CS policy in my opinion. I know it is valuable to many employees, but I do not see it as valuable as what I have just mentioned. I would rather concede the metal issue in exchange for this raise rather than stall the contract over the CS policy. and training with NO raise.

My guess is they agreed to the increases in principle and they are working on details to put in writing which takes longer.
