JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA AMTS

The only retro I can remember was the 2001 contract. A meaningful signing bonus would certainly lessen the sting of this whole thing. I'm not counting on it though. I'm very doubtful we will see anything this year.

We haven't had retro here at US for many, many years.  Long before 2001, that I can remember.
 
But the IAM did negotiate me the airline industries first retroactive PAY CUT, though.

If you have been looking at jetnet and reading comments then you know who William (Bill) Benson is.  He texted me today and told me he has been blocked from posting any comments on jetnet for 90 days.  No disciplinary action as far as F29 or CR1 entry.  He was told everything he posted was the truth but that too many people were complaining about him.  I have been posting too and there have been others but we need more people posting.  AA is now censoring comments not because they are lies but because they are the truth and the company has no answer for them other than to block them.  I urge everyone to "like" everything that Bill has posted in the past and also to comment in similar fashion.  Do not let them get away with this.  If they succeed in silencing us then they can continue the lies they have tried to spin on us.  You guys want to take some action?  Let em have it on the comments.  Do not be disrespectful and do not insult anyone.  Just post facts such as how we are the lowest paid in the industry with the worst benefits.  How promises have not been kept and so on.  Continue what Bill started.  They will be blocking me soon too so we need others to step up.  The funny thing is Bill figured out who I am because he recognized the writing style!  My secret identity has been revealed. hahaha.  Let's go!  Either do it or you better start sitting down to pee!  We ALL need to let em have it and keep the pressure on.  Don't let them get away with their lies.

I have posted on there as well OldGuy. I agree, AA might read these forums, don't know, but they damn sure read the Jetnet comments as well as thousands of other employees.

I have read and liked all his post he is very truthful and is not offensive at least in my book. To me the offensive ones are the groups who have got there raises and always mention the negative post. And I remember before the other groups there raises they were allover jetnet doing the same thing. Plus you have the sux a----- on there.

He is quite a guy.  Also concerned about his fellow workers.  A real leader.  Obviously AA figured that out and silenced him.  They are concerned he is becoming popular as he has lots of followers.  Check him out on jetnet and see how many he has.  Also think about how they came up with 90 days as the length of time for the ban.  Why not two weeks or a month?  They may be planning on fleecing us within the next 90 days and don't want him around to counter them.

The only thing happening 90 days from now will be the rolling out of 2017 negotiation dates as negotiations shut down for the holidays, wouldn't want to overwork the NC.

Probably but in the mean time the company can put out a whole new set of lies too.  If there are none of us calling them out on these lies they win.

Yes Parker is telling lies.  He says they are not asking for concessions but they are.  They want to increase outsourcing of maintenance for one.

He is asking for 50% outsourcing.  US Air has that but we have 35% so that is a concession.  There are other things.  Go to Youtube and watch Peterson's video he has more examples.

Isn't it true that LAA  can outsource to 35% but is currently using only 17%?
 
The LUS is at 50% and I guess Doug and his team want to maintain that amount. 
 
If the Association allows that,  it should cost them to have it.

I doesn't matter if US Air allows that.  It is a concession to us.  No concessions

I heard they are looking to add 6 guys on the LUS side, to many airplanes, not enough people. LAA guys don't touch US metal.
