I hardly think that any of us at AA worked any harder to make sure we all got a slice of the pirot's booty. Contingent cash Incentives don't work. I much rather work of a place making a profit, and come contract time, its easier to ask for a raise. In the case of the F/A, from the 30 year person I had talked to the passed Monday, the 9% raise in the first year was the best he had seen in his 30 years. The TA was voted down because because of no PS, Greed got the 16 no voters.AANOTOK said:The argument should be why PS is a negotiable item. It wasn't for the first few contracts when I hired in. A raise is earned income. PS is a job well done shared company wide!

"Parker has publicly stated that the flight attendant offer is still on the table if the APFA wants to send it out for another vote. "
What are they waiting for? Send it back out. But maybe just maybe the F/S will hold out for PS...eolesen said:It would be a smart move to leave it there. Question is whether or not APFA is willing to do the do-over.
I don't think PS will make it to anyone's table, I think the F/A stand a chance too lose not gain from this stunt. From the info from this F/A I talked to, the voted no just on principal, the idea that AA will sweeten the deal, but they are wrong, I think they well be in binding arbitration for ONE DAY, and be forced to take the TA at face value. And from what I heard, it was the best offer in years.QQAAramp said:Yes, Bob. Greed was definitely the winner. They may get PS in arbitration, but the total package will be less than the TA.
Here, here brother! APFA sold profit sharing for $50 million a year. If we give that back, we lost the company contribution of up to 9.9% on top of that $ as well. Plus I personally would prefer the company contribution and getting it twice a month! Some people are just impossible to talk to. Most are soooooooo confused and annoyingly inaccurate! Worst part is that they have zero desire to listen that they may be wrong or have any sort of inclination to go look for the facts. They don't trust anyone, except the loud mouthed people on Facebook! It is all sad really.bob@las-AA said:I don't think PS will make it to anyone's table, I think the F/A stand a chance too lose not gain from this stunt. Prior to the start of the meeting, AA CEO Doug Parker and President Scott Kirby addressed the Board and responded to questions. During discussions, they explained management's position as we approach arbitration next month. Parker stated there was not going to be another contract offer and that we will be proceeding to arbitration, which is consistent with the company’s position during Monday’s mediation session at the National Mediation Board. Parker reiterated that the arbitration parameters will not change as outlined in the Negotiations Protocol Agreement (NPA). Board members asked questions and provided suggestions, which Parker and Kirby agreed to take under advisement.
Parker was asked about his comments from the DFW Crew News meeting on Monday regarding the possibility of putting the T/A out for a re-vote. The Board reaffirmed that the members have spoken and the balloting process must be respected. The results of the balloting will stand.
