They were not removed by the NMB, the company eliminated the jobs in the final offer.

They classification still exists, but they are none at US anymore, the work is now outsourced.

You will have to ask the NMB why, I do not work for them.

OUTSOURCED??? :shock: :shock: :shock: I'll bet that those employees feared just that.

So the way to remove a group from a "certification" is to OUTSOURCE their jobs. That's even worse than if the NMB did it.

There are plenty of AMTs who are not very good mechanics, just because you have a license and can read does not make you a superior AMT.
