IBT vs IAM

you are totally wrong.......its a NMB ballgame now..........you asked for it..
As A Union Member I Stand By My Union  , I Hope You Can Understand That. B) We Are The Union And If We Do Not Than There Is No Union, BUT WHEN THE UNION STANDS BY ITS SELF And Only For Its Self There Is No Union,IE THE IAM.

I can see were this will affect you directly 7. The stock clerks have a separate contract. The stock clerks will not be left out in the cold like you would want them to believe. It just sounds like the IAM is a little afraid

Thanks for the link 700.

That's what I thought the issue was. And in all honesty, isn't this all part of the process?? A realignment of contracts. Just as Gonzo stated, the Stock Clerks would NOT be removed, just realigned under a different contract.........all depending, of course, how things end up.

I saw no mention of Utility. Is that going to go the way of the Ground Communication Technicans of the past IAM coverage? I would tend to believe that's true since the west has no Utility.

Based on precedent being set by management with CSR, FAs and Pilots, IF stock clerks would be removed I doubt the East stock clerks would take a cut in pay or benefits. The most likely outcome would be the West would be slowly brought up to the East pay and benefits. Such a realignment would make sense. Stock clerks and mechanics are only REMOTELY related in the sense mechanics need parts to repair aircraft. Time to separate the apples from the oranges.

Please answer these questions this time around or tell me if you don't know.....one more time.

Then what is the objection that was filed all about??? The one filed, according to Delldude, on 2-28.
If you note it was IBT who filed the objection.
its quite obvious the issue is IBT 35% and with the mechanics only they probably are close to achieving it,but if utility and stock clerks are thrown in they are most likely way off the mark.if they had 35% of the 7000 or so they wouldn't be going down this avenue.

this was tried by AMFA at NWA with no success...we'll see shortly.

I hope you fix planes better then you respond to posts on here.

7 you are not in any position to say anything about any of the AMT's quality of aircraft maintenance. IAM or IBT. Stick to what you know about. Aircraft maintenance is not one of your areas. :)
