IBT No Show Forum

Hey, Swamt are there any AT mechanics that will be getting months off with free pay. Seems that many of the AT FA/s will be getting several months off while being paid FULLY during the 717 scrap program, just curious if Avtech group will be recieving the same benefits of FREE pay,,

Dont get me wrong I think it only fair that they should get near DOH and full pay while they are not furloghed but on a vacation,. Its the least we at SWA can do for them to help them Adjust to the changes and get used to the HUGE pay increases

What happend to the pages 140-175??? Please, don't tell me they were deleted again.

I went in to delete some reported content, and accidentally removed the entire thread instead. I apologize for that, and will try to recover it for everyone. In the meantime, please continue the discussion here.
That was your exact same excuse you used the last time you deleted the first thread. So stop trying to clean things up.

Oh please you had a 50/50 chance of being right that the 717's were either going or staying. And they will be here until 2015.

Actually better than you think. We saw this coming back in mid to late 2011. Now we can all see why the company was stalling on the final outcome of the maint. requirements for the 717's. If Delta pilots do not vote this contract in, SWA has a back-up plan with 2 other airlines lined up. All of this was planed very shortly after the purchase was made. The 717's will be replaced with -700's as well as -800's. The number of -300 retirements are now reduced due to this agreement with Delta.

Yes, AvTech04, please give us an update on how the voting is going. I can still say at my station I still have not heard of a no vote to date, all yes so far. Would like to hear from you AvTech.
