I'd say leave it gone at this point.. No need to resurface the past, instead, lets work towards the future.

Eagle, Thx for the update. Would be great to retreive it back if possible. Would be nice to able to reference all the newbies coming in since now all the ballots are being received.
Bus made an interesting point; over 40K views and only a little over the 1000 post. I would be willing to bet they have a whole dept over looking this forum. Believe it or not, this is where they get alot of "feel" on how it may go. I have heard from the committee that the company has in fact stated they have read the post on the mechanics forum online. I assumed they were talking about this one. Good luck on retreiving the past postings. If no luck we shall just press fwd with this one. No harm done. And thx far all you do Eagle...

Yea... 94% speaks volumes as far as what AT got.. they wisely saw the $$$ signs and knew they took to much and decided not to push their luck

So is it safe to say that their fa's are smarter than their pilots(lol,jk)...well at least with contracts...

Terrible. Our junior flight attendants get furloughed BEFORE Airtran junior f/A's.

Hey now,, remember they AT deserve s everything Swa worked very very hard for,, and took many years to obtain,,,so why not furlough swa first,,we gave them everything anyway

OK guys...lets step outside the mauling the swa fa's took on the SLI for just a moment... lets talk about the conversation I had today w 3 AT fa's...

Avtech, airtrantech..all AT people pipe in if this is way off base...l so I was being my friendly affable self and actually started a conversation w the AT girls,,,blah blah blah,, after 5-10 minutes of smal talk they asked me what SWa plans on doing w the train station hirees? I have no idea what the are talking about they go onto explain

Well seems AT HAS had a 800 number billboard advertising Fa's jobs in some train station recruiting the less than desirables,,, like people on welfare etc...now DONT EVEN think about saying anything to me..I was blown away and can't make this s#+t up

These girls wanted to know how swa planned on getting rid of the welfare, section 8, train station billboatd FA's who applied from the 800 train station number,,.are u kidding me. They said its not just a couple but a couple hundredor more that need to be fired!!

Someone clear this up,,, they seemed truly concerned and even mentioned prostitutes,,, are they just messing w me,,,explain please

OK A vtech,,,please say it isn't so,, these girls seemed so serious and said they hoped SWA could get rid of the train station hirees.. I am still shaking my head,, but these were mid 30s-40s mom types,,, not sure what to think

Wow.. wow...wow

Ladies and Gentlemen. Pls note: On our up coming vote for the mechanics senority integration agreement I would like all mechanics from SWA and AT to vote. Rather you are a yes or no vote just pls vote. This does in fact effect us all. Rather your a 1 yr mech or a 25+ mech. This will in fact effect future take overs, aquisitions, buy-outs or flat out mergers. I want all mechs to vote how this integration will effect each and every one of you personally. Don't let anyone enfluence your vote. Vote how this will effect you and you family. The final integration/trasitional agreements to be voted on were sent out 31st of Jan. Voting time frame is thru 2-21-12. If this is in fact voted down (by either side) then there is a date set to return to the table on Feb. 23, 2012. I really hope the company, AMFA, as well as the teamsters get back to the table, come up with some changes in order to get this done prior to arbitration. I honestly think we can do this. The company wants nothing better than to come to an agreement outside of arbitration, as we do to. It would all be better for the resulting end. If the company and/or unions could fix what needs to be fixed in order to get this thing to pass both sides, it would be a huge acomplishment in the airline industry. Never have I ever seen any airline to come to senority agreements from a merger, aquisition, buy-out or take over with out at least one group (or usually many more) going thru arbitration. The F/A's from SWA and AT have just voted in their senority integration agreements. Who cares what the %'s were for either side, it's now in. And now they all have to deal with it. If ours is voted in, then we have to deal with it, and move on as one group. The company wants this to go thru so smoothly and quickly in order to have a quiet and smooth transition. The company really means no harm to any employees. It's just business during the nego part of it. I would be estatic if all the groups could in fact come to an agreement with out going to arbitration. This would be history in the making. I hope the upcoming changes will in fact be enough to get this to pass for the mechanics. But as of right now it sounds like it will be voted down, and there will be another visit back to the table. If this happends, I hope the changes made (by the company) are in fact enough to get this a done deal. Good luck to all... And pls vote!!

Don't forget, this company seniority integration offer effectively separates the Airtran and Southwest mechanic workgroups. For no other reason than that, it deserves a NO vote in my opinion.
