FACT: the IAM couldn't get enough valid cards for an election.
The bar has been set even higher with the additional 1500 f/a's.
(even more hirings this fall)
it was unlikely they could get in "legally" before, now highly UNLIKELY.
Despite what some believe, the IAM has egg on their face as far a F/A's are
concerned.  Many are embarrassed to even wear their pins and have their bags
tags.  Maybe a few die hards, but not many.  The IAM will not be recovering anytime
soon as far as Delta F/A's are concerned.
Most Delta F/A's  recognized the rudderless sinking ship they have become.  Just a few here
who continue to have delusions of grandeur.
Point of order: IAM bag tags are now specifically banned per the company's advocacy policy.

People aren't taking them off because they're "embarrassed," they're doing it because they have to...

If the company is overstepping its legal bounds in making that requirement, then DL FAs could disobey and file a lawsuit - either as employees or ex-employees.

or, it could be, that the company really does have the legal right to regulate what its employees wear and display.

and just to be clear, DL's advocacy policy is not just union related. Faith and charity related organizations and statements are impacted in the exact same manner.

and yet DL employees have seen greater increases in their compensation than any other airline employees in the USA - and that increase hasn't been tied to being union or non-union.

The difference is DL, its people, and the company's decision to share its success with its employees.

Believe what you want
Lol those tags were flying off bags BEFORE the new rules

ALPA just won a $30 million award for the company violating the JV clause while the FAs get nothing as they don't have contractual protections on flights flown by partners.

so what did APFA won for AA FAs since AA has given away more mainline flying to AA regional carriers than any other US airline?

meanwhile, DL is HIRING FAs left and right and bringing more capacity from regional carriers back to DL.

oh, and DL has 100% lie flat crew rest facilities for FAs off of the main cabin on all of its int'l widebody aircraft.

AA and UA FAs can't say that.

and DL FAs have seen greater increases in compensation than any other US airline.

DL FAs have it better off - WITHOUT the union. No wonder the cards got pulled.

#UNIONFAIL

More lies from you AA's FAs make more and AA is hiring and DL outsources tons of flying.

wrong.

on.

both.

counts.

DL FAs make more than AA/US FAs and DL connection carriers carry a smaller percentage and smaller overall regional carrier network than AA does.

and DL's regional network is SHRINKING while AA's is growing.

it's all public data which is why you look so foolish trying to argue what is clearly wrong

now.

what.

grievance.

will.

APFA.

file.

for.

AA''s.

regional.

carrier.

growth.

which.

is.

costing.

AA FAs.

jobs.

and for those who are willing to believe it, DOT statistics show how much insourcing each airline does in everything besides maintenance and on that basis, DL is middle of the pack among US airlines.

Given that DL is bringing more flying back to mainline and is also bringing work back inhouse, the pendulum is swinging in the right direction at DL and is swinging more strongly for DL than for other airlines.
