The most accurate statement in that article is his belief (mine two) that it is rogue individuals acting on both sides that are not necessarily reflective of either organization.
Still, the IAM is the organization petitioning for an election and it is their responsibility to maintain control of the process.
The author also notes that the lack of security and the issues with the online IAM survey were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. The card drive and the survey may or may not have any bearing on each other.
Rather than point blame, though, the real question is what the DOJ can do if it is found that there was a contamination of the process one way or another.
It is hard to believe that the NMB could require continuation of the process where it left off after it goes thru and tosses out the invalid votes and then resets the dates in the process to account for the time that was lost due to the investigation - but who knows.
