Gonzo,
The bankrutpcy judge abrogated the CBA, the membership voted and ratified a final offer that allowed outsourcing, is that too hard for you to comprehend?
And your ibt failed to get the checks back in-house, your heavy is done by Aeroman and Timco, the US/East A320 family and 737s are all done in-house, you can't say the same.ROFL....aaah.....ok.? Remember now what the company giveth to the IAM the company can taketh away, that's in the IAM CBA. What the company giveth the IBT the IBT keepeth. That's in the IBT CBA.
Funny I went to your local 104 ibt webpage and pulled up your 1998-2003 agreement and got your wage figures right out of section Section 20, pages 62, 63 and 64.I don't believe the wage comment was about AWA wages.......I do believe that the post was about UPS and others. Our wages are not the best....but we get to keep earning them....unlike many of the "sacrificial" members of the IAM.
Contract 1998
What about your lower paid mechanics, you ignore that and I did not even compare the wage differences in the stock clerks. You mean our lower paid EMPLOYEED mechanics and stock clerks?
Why cant your ibt get US to the table? If I remember correctly the union and the company decided to hold off on the negotiations. I believe they figured that they would be changing several things after the IBT is representing the Mechanics and related, so why continue with a contract that will have to be redone....now don't read to much into this 7 and get yourself all worked up.
Funny how you selectively ignore the rest of the post, what is wrong, can't refute the facts? It seems that no matter what I respond to it is never the correct response or proper subject, you will just have to accept what I post 7.
