IAM update on NMB decision

The IAM and our attorneys are reviewing the investigator’s ruling. Any appeals must be filed by July 10, 2006. A decision on whether an election will take place will be made some time after that date.

I am very sure they will object - that is expected - it is also expected to see the ruling stand. Most arbitrators and judges do not like to say I made a mistake - and in this case they did not. Bite the bullet 700 - stand up on your own and not hide behind the mechanics.

Never hid behind anyone, especially an mechanic, I have always stood on my own and stood up for all the members, unlike you ibters who want to throw anyone and everyone under the bus, even your fellow mechanics in GSE and your lower paid, unlicensed mechanics in your tiny hangar in PHX.

Your forgot to mention how many of your GSE were outsourced under your "superior" language. Crawl back under your rock your dog just got taken out of the fight.

suddenly IBT finds their 35% in jeopardy...we take you live to IBT headquarters and Andy is trying to calm the IBT hopefuls.....

Yes outsourced after two bankruptcies in less then two years and three rounds of concessions, yet the IAM/CBA still contains more work done in-house by IAM members then your so-called superior HP/ibt CBA contains.

How can that be?

What insult will you cast at me next?

Guess you don't have an answer for the question asked of you?

Guess you can't answer since you know I posted the truth.

And with answers like yours you wonder why people don't want the ibt as a representative.

talk about riding coat tails of mechanics....he he he...
GSE and Repairmen drag your hourly wage down bucko.
If you're not paying repairmen and auto mechs, theres more to go around for the real guys.
repairman is a vendored out A/P dude.....at less than the going rate.

Dell what's up with your low opinion of the GSE Mechanic? Have you tried some counseling for that or maybe you should go straight to the medication. They are hard working techs that deserve a cut of the pie, least wise here they are. I am not proud of thier treatment in the first contract and have gone on record to try and change that at and away from the table. Our repairman here for the most part are A&P's in waiting here, and we were at the table trying to change thier fate too when Dougie pulled his boner.

Just not sure what your problem is with the GSE tech's though.

As opposed to your low opinion of the stock clerks, who are apparently not hard working and deserve nothing?

Do not have a low opinion of stock clerks - just one of them - but they should not be under the mechanic contract, they are not mechanics. The stock clerks deserve a good wage and benefit program but under thier own contract.
