I just worked with a former "EAST" F/A - Many topics

When my manual comes back from the shop (it's being repaired for total neglect), I'll have to start making many notes in it, and high-lighting, and ear-marking, and sticking post-its, and...
I draw beards and glasses on all the pictures of the people in my manual during recurrent.

It’s the only thing that keeps me awake.

When can we have classes start at a decent time, like noon?

I just got in from an all-nighter. Don't know how I end up flying with number one and two all the time. I'm such a young thing. Anyway, apparently, we have recently adopted HPs policy of waiting for passengers if it is the last flight of the night. US has done that, but we had LIMITS! When I pick up an all-nighter, I don't expect to actually WORK all night. So, I got zero sleep. This morning when we got in, I had to baby-sit the plane since it was a thru-flt. SUX being junior. They all just left me to rot. Buh-Bye, nice flying with you.

Would love to hear from an East F/A who has gone through their training, and worked a west trip.
Training was 5 1/2 weeks for only 3 planes!! A full day on the liquor form and a ton of guest speakers which I heard they got rid of a bunch to make it 5 1/2 weeks. Working a west trip...
Express service is going through with the cart but no tidbits(west slang for pretzels). If the flight is over 2 hours you do 2 bev services. The "A" f/a is not allowed to go past overwing nor is she allowed to use the restroom if she's the only f/a in the front. I normally work the back and rarely ever meet the pilots. There different on almost every leg. Liquor forms must be filled out after each leg, sealed and verified by another f/a. And so on.....
