I know this post will be unpopular, but it is the unfortunate truth.

His message will be lost just as is the message of the OWS crowd. A rant, filled with expletives, is as effective at affecting change as is an OWS protester throwing a brick through a window with a well written letter tied to it.

Decision makers and people in the position to help him and those with who he is trying to fight for, cannot take his message and run with it as it was packaged.

Sadly, he will end up a casualty of this for all the wrong reasons.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. He is far more popular than any other AMT right now though.

When UA announced their BK I was in the break area, One older Mechanic had a tear in his eye, I asked him why? He was a mechanic for EAL, Then Pan AM, Then United. He said his retirement plan is not to retire.
He was laid off from UA in BK. Haven’t heard from him since.
Yea, it sucks but at least Smisek received a 300% bonus.

I honestly don't know what PATCO 1968 was.

PATCO 1981 was an ILLEGAL Strike, and IMO, a very stupid thing to do.
They had very clear language that made striking illegal, cut and dried, no debate.

1981- Ronald Reagan gave the controllers 48 hours to report back to work and fired the ones that did not comply with his Presidential Order. They had taken a sworn oath NOT TO STRIKE.
