They will never grasp the concept of craft unionism, and admit the Constitution is the problem. They will always live in denial and blame.there you have it, the blame Jim Little game has begun.
Nice to belong to a local that is okay with his daily uncensored updates. I don't see any updates coming out of 514 or 567 or from the other locals. I doubt those locals would of let santos even go.Judging from the latest Santos email looks like same game, different faces.

Tulsa will do what it has always done. There will be a minority of us who will push AMFA and the majority will drink the koolaid and support the TWU because they will be told that if AMFA gets in the line will screw O/H. And they will point to some who post on this blog who think a line mechanic is worth much more than an O/H mechanic. But there will be a lot less votes in Tulsa due to the jobs that disappear. The overspeeds of the world will blame this on anything but the inept TWU and the sheep will believe them. When the line outnumbers O/H then it will happen. Unless AA and the TWU do another end run and come up with another plan to defeat AMFA. If I knew nothing else just the fact that AA does not want AMFA on the property would make me want to vote for them.TWU Informer
Who is they? If I am not mistaken you are in Tulsa, so I have a question to all of the TWU represented AMT's and class and craft related employees there.
Many including yourself signed both IBT and AMFA cards, what is Tulsa's plan now?
Are you planning on keeping the TWU and seeing what the NEW TWU is going to do for us here at AA?
Who is going to step up now in Tulsa and say that the TWU has to go?
Is Tulsa going to sit back and let the NEW TWU do to us what the OLD TWU did?
We are going to have to wait the yr, the NMB will not rule or rule in a way that will be in any way
that will cause a problem for AA or the AFL-CIO or TWU. The fix is in as they say.
Looks like Thomas Paine is right same game different faces. New TWU or old it's all the same.....
I don't believe the AA (mis)management has any intention of having the new aircraft become a part of the TULE workload. TULE will exist to support the 737 and MD80 aircraft and I believe that will cease also as soon as the TWU (Totally Worthless Union) can negotiate a profitable exit for themselves, screwing the membership as always by farming that work out.Tulsa will do what it has always done. They might, because they probably cant find any other way to get it done more cost effectively. They get a huge discount on Line Maint plus they have control over the process. II don't believe the AA (mis)management has any intention of having the new aircraft become a part of the TULE workload.
I agree but beware of the TWU. Don't be surprised if they agree to allow AA to keep a 25% OSM head count system wide. That would be the parting shot that would beat all. They hate AMTs so don't be surprised if it happens.I don't believe the AA (mis)management has any intention of having the new aircraft become a part of the TULE workload. I really believe Overhaul at TULE is toast - it's just a matter of when.

Perhaps, but if Aeroman is such a great deal then why doesn't Delta US and other carriers send all their work there instead of mainly overflow? Isn't it also true that the fleets in the 3rd world has grown a lot over the past decade and isn't it true that the majority of the projected growth in Aviation will be in places like South America, Asia and Africa? They will have their own stuff to take care of. Sure the industry can Ramp up, but in order to draw in new talent and keep them they will have to increase wages, even at Aeroman.Perhaps, but since the new Airbus and the 737s being delivered now won't need a heavy C check for five or six years, that gives Aeroman plenty of time to build another couple of hangars and train several hundred more unlicensed "helpers" to overhaul those planes beginning in 2018 or 2019. Aeroman has built a lot of hangar space at SAL over the past decade and with five or six years before AA's new planes need a heavy check, that will be all the lead time they need to get ready.
There's a shortage of overhaul capacity right now, but that doesn't mean the industry can't ramp up to meet AA's needs by the end of this decade.
Delta doesn't need Aeroman. They entered in to a partnership for airframe MRO years ago with the MD80 and it will expand to included 757 and 767 soon.Perhaps, but if Aeroman is such a great deal then why doesn't Delta US and other carriers send all their work there instead of mainly overflow? Yes AA entered in to a partnership with RR and have TWU Title I do the work which is completely different than DL partnering with Aeromexico and having low wage unlicensed mechanics do the work on DL aircraft. And AA entered into a partnership with Rolls Royce twenty years ago, doesn't change the fact that this country isn't producing enough A&Ps to maintain the US Fleet, it doesn't change the fact that places like AAR and TIMCO are having problems retaining and recruiting people despite as you have cited this long economic depression this country has been in. Do you think a recovering economy will inspire more young people to invest time and money to come to a dead end job like you have made this?
