What will be the NEW TWU? Be prepared for the cleansing of the TWU and THE TWU ATD. Along with this is their ability to wash away all their previous wrongs. " That was them, give us a chance" pep talk. I heard that from management over the years. And the cycle begins all over again. The TWU ATD did alot of talking and little to no producing positive results for their members. Sure they spin it to sound like they were a force to be reckoned with and ultimately we the sheep got slaughtered! What is the TWU ATD officers concellation........raises for everybody!!! No matter how you spin it, we were the losers and our leaders benefit. I am waiting to hear some people say after the convention to get behind the "NEW TWU" they are saying the right things. All I can say is; Old dog, same tricks. 50+ years under TWU control and what do I have left to show for it? I await another empty handed slogan from the TWU convention like "we move America" , "We're gonna kick some ass" to falsely motivate members. The bottom line is in the results and the TWU ATD has failed in negotiating for their members period.

LOL have to laugh kinda reminds me of when we at NWA were really on a campaign to get AMFA then all of a sudden the IAM said hey we will give you your own "districk"..lol ..Too little too late it was only when the IAM knew they had a real chance of losing the mechanics that they started giving a crap about us. Any aircraft mechanics that continue to be in industrial unions you get what you deserve. The UPS guys are a rare exception but hey they have part time mechanics who else has that?

Lets Hope that the Mechanics from automotive/facilities/Aircraft maintenance
All work together and remove the TWU from OUR Class and Craft and AA.

The TWU and the IBT kept us from a vote by the collusion and lies.

Lets all work together before its too late and bring a Union to AA that we will give us a say, One in which we can remove officers that fail to look out for our interest.

Lets send the Officers of the TWU ATD packing lets bring AMFA here to AA.

No matter who the TWU puts into power the scamming and looking out for the Union officials will always be there. Don't we all want a union which is going to look out for its membership?

No matter whats or who comes out of the TWU convention the TWU needs to be replaced.

Given the TWU-ATD history, you're probably right 'old-guy'(about retaining those two Morons).
I realize " IF " is a dangerous word,.....But IF Harry Lombardo gets elected (and he should) and IF....he cleans house, I'd at least give the guy a chance to speak.
Every time I think that the TWU is Totally Worthless, I think about Local 100, and to a lesser degree, the TWU Rail Division.

Sorry Bears, the talking is over. The TWU is in business for itself, not for the best interests of the dues payers. Videtich and Gless need to come back to the floor. That way, they too can lower their expectations. Videtich may even have enough seniority to stay off night shift. I'm certain they may be able to find some people that will listen to their side of the story..kinda.

Yup the new TWU. We get a .84 pay raise tomorrow. Glad the Tulsa boys voted yes or else I would have not gotten my BIG raise. What was I thinking when I voted NO?
And to be fair I will give a percentage of that .84 cent raise to the TWU in well deserved union dues for the NEW TWU.
