From Furlough Status To Recall?

I am sure they will. I only hope that we (flight attendants) treat all involved over there with respect.

There is a lot of bitterness towards many for having the courage to go over to MAA and leave mainline behind (in a sense).

Everyone had the same opportunities as the rest.

None of us are happy with the whole situation, but again we have only one choice.

If we are going to accept a position making less (we know that going in), then we owe MAA our best. MAA is a DIVISION...it is not mainline. Make it a fresh start if you choose to go.

Think of it as ONLY temporary

The nice thing about MidAtlantic is that it is a voluntary position. Yes, things could be better, but the union has brought the standard higher and is continuing to work on many issues.

The group that is currently involuntarily furloughed is an excellent group, one that I'm proud to be a part of and excited to work with again. Since everyone is pretty much at the same level there shouldn't be any senior or jaded attitudes (no offense to senior people, just FAs with nasty attitudes). Remember we do not have to accept the job. Those of us who do should make the best of it and remember that we are all in the same boat.

Our situation, pay, and contract are pretty sad but I think actually working there will be enjoyable (as in the crews and the aircraft).
