F/A Transfers Given then Taken Away!

Athens and Rome laid the foundations for Western civilization. St. Louis? Peanut Butter?

St. Louis brough us Ted Drew's, some of the best ice cream ever!

BTW, Ed, if you really are going to take this into to litigation, it is not advisable to be discussing this on an opun forum.

Missouri's current State Legislature has broadened the "haves vs the have nots". That being said there is a wonderful resurgence of renovation in the down town areas of Benton Park and Tower Grove. Beautiful old homes are being lovingly restored and an old fashioned sense of community prevails. Every place has its good and bad. I'm an old Lexington, Virginia girl (and you can't get much better than Lexington) and I have loved living in STL. Besides, being in the middle, it doesn't take as long to visit somewhere else..
You are so right, Nancy. Historic Soulard Market,Webster Groves, renovated brownstones, wonderful gems. You have to take the train out of "Webby Groves" to the Hermann Winery for their Wine Fest. That train station is over 100 yrs old. And runs along the River Road, beautiful. Even my hubby, Jersey Guy, loved it!!!

STL vs The BIG APPLE......Hmmmmm.

Lets see.......More non-stop flights, from MORE foreign countries , land in JFK, than any other airport in the usa.

I wonder why that is ?

NH/BB's

ps,

If I desired the best "eye-talian" food(in STL) would I have to go to Olive Garden ???

If I desired REAL thin crust pizza(in STL) would I have to go to DOMINO's ???

But as I said a few pages earlier, there is worse than STL.
GOD forbid, you could be Marooned in DFW !!

I rest my case(s) !!!

Are you kidding? Ever heard of "The Hill"? Tony's? As for the flights, hummm Hours in customs vs a walk through.. And flight choices? Yes, that has certainly changed since we were "saved". I've lived in "the City" and in STL. Affodable housing, food, transpotation, education, entertainment, bend me to the "middle". I LOVED living in NY but my then $360 a month apt is now over $3000 a month. I don't know how any of you all afford to live there.

Hmmmm.... an abundance of foreigners as a reason to want to live in NYC.... Seems to be a deterrant as well. ;)

I've lived in a lot of places, and frankly, I'm glad I don't live in NYC anymore. Give me a fly-over state anyday.

Besides, there are enough escapees from NYC scattered about the country that you can find good Italian and fold-over pizza just about anywhere with its own zip code these days.

Thank you donttouchthebeatuy for your support...The irony of the whole mess is that I could have easily held the regular x'fer out of LGA to ORD, but didn't bother putting my name on that list because of the slt transfer that I "Was" granted. I care about others and wouldn't, nor did I take a spot on that list knowing I "Supposedly" had this Xfer.

Also, I don't blame Straaight for their Ignorance..The reality of the situation is that this person doesn't really care about anyone then themselves!

What Unity?

Flyboy:

You have every reason to feel frustrated and I hope that your situation mends itself, somehow. I have a feeling that you posted this situation to blow off a little steam and maybe generate some support.

I know that feeling all too well and it is sad that a fellow f/a has responded by bashing you.

Good luck! ;)
