About the only other thing worse, that could have happened to you, was to get forced to "DF+W" :down:

BTW - I hope you get your x-fer. It doesn't seem right, that they can rescind after putting a x-fer through.. Although, I don't know how the AA system works for transfers..

How is APFA responsible for your transfer being taken away?

Since only mutual transfers are being awarded, to the best of my opinion, it sounds like whoever you were matched up with either didn't respond, or said no. That happens a lot, and we, as flight attendants, only have ourselves to blame for that.

This sounds more acurate. But save your breath, some people just won't listen and are determined to feel victimized. Its better to just smile and nod and let them carry on with their dramas.

There is only Unity when it affects you personally. Obviously, you didn't understand the original post. All you care about is your selfish self. Again, what is happening affects all of us on the line trying to get a transfer to where they want to go.. A transfer was given, moving plans were made, and in progress, the company then rescinds the transfer in the middle of the month..Do you have a brain, and cant you grasp this situation? Get a Grip on Reality!

Apparantly, it wasn't awarded. If they "recinded", then it was never completed. It is very clear in the lateral language and procedures that both parties need to respond by a certain time. I feel sorry that you chose to start moving before it was final. But how can that be anyones fault but your own? I am sure AA isn't worried about your professed legal action. I am confident that you will only be wasting your own money and time. It seems that you have other issues going on in your life and choose to take it out on who ever is most convenient. By the way, why were you forced to move 5 times? As far as I know, people were only "forced" to move once by this company. And that was to your base of choice, STL. By the way, they are all back in their previous base at this point, if they wanted to go back. It seems like you need to re read the mutual lateral language again. It might let you understand what happened. Good luck in life, it sounds like you need a little love and compassion.

EXCUSE ME! STL has great base management and kick a** base reps. The city isn't so bad either. NYC is great but don't be so quick to judge other bases.

All I can say is that I received a Transfer after over two years trying to get out of NY, then in a matter of 10 days the compAAny rescinded, just today, on it's offer. I have moved Every time to my bAAse, and am currently in the process of moving to my new base when this happened....MY LAAwyer is Loving this....Me not so much!!! Is AA, and the APFA really that Incompentent?, and you really want the lawsuits to stop? Sorry!! You don't do this to human beings...,but of course, at AA you are just AA number!!

It really doesnt matter because it involves none of you, right? The mere fact that this is happening doesn't even concern any of you on the line...I can tell you this much..Yes..AA did everything they were supposed to, but as we all know what is being done is the most unethical treatment to humans possible... I have over 3 FSM's ( Not Union ), and the APFA standing behind this, not to mention, the lawyers ready to take this case to court right now...I am actually trying to follow the proper procedures on what happend by filing grievences etc.....Instead of support from the actual line F/A's all I get is grief and the " thank god its not me syndrome ". That's typical from this Supposedly "Unified" workforce...The previous posts actually prove this...I only wish more of the TWA F/A's were being recalled...They actually know what it means to be a unified workforce.

BTW.....I recieved this info on 07/11...I still Have a schedule to fly out of LGA with a report date of 08/01/07....When am I supposed to move to the new base I was awarded? The company gives no time off for transfers, nor do they remove you from trips etc...Next time you post such an uninformed post perhaps you should check the facts....
