As for 700's gramar, for someone who makes a career out of finding fault with what everyone else does, he should learn to keep his nose spotlessly clean. His inappropriate use of your and yoú're has been repeatedly pointed out to him.

For someone with 20K plus posts on this board and claims to have been in union leadership including claims to being a part of writing contracts, it isn't too much to ask someone with his claimed credentials to use proper grammar.

As for SEA-ANC on UA, if it was a holdover route and didn't have strategic value and likely wasn't very profitable if any at all, then it should have been cancelled a long time ago. UA is now having to make cuts that others lambasted DL for making and yet which have helped contributed to DL's very Strong financial performance in recent years.

And AS' frequency pulldowns do not leave them with significantly more frequencies than DL has added in those markets. AS is using 738s while DL is E175s or CR9s but the large frequency advantage is just not there for AS anymore.

and it doesn't change that despite all the hoopla among some on here about how AS would kick DL's tail, it is AS that is reducing their schedule while DL hasn't blinked and is building the SEA hub that I said they would build with or without AS.

If you really want to know why I was banned from a.net, you need only look at a post on the AA fórum on which one of the AA fanboys from that site came over here and threatened to have me banned because I was posting too much information about AA's strategic failures, despite the fact that it is all available to the public thru the DOT.
I was exonerated when AA's creditors dissed AA's legacy mgmt team and put Doug Parker and his team in charge with legacy AA sênior leaders in very few key strategic positions at the new AA.

I spoke what needed to be said despite the fact that it ruffled feathers. I am just glad that one of the AA fanboys came over here to threaten me so we now have a public record of what really drove my removal from a.net.
If there is any doubt about the post I am referncing, I can certainly post it.
Take your own advice, go back to school and take some English classes.

WT apparently loves to throw around the words "AA fanboy" which is hilarious, because he is the very definition of a DL fanboy himself.
 
Still not quite as hilarious as his attempts to impugn others' grammar while being atrocious at it himself. :lol:

IIRC, SEA-ANC was a holdover from the Shuttle by United era, and they've been a distant performer for ages on the route.

The actual pulldowns don't look that alarming. When you're running 8+ frequencies in a market, you're still carrying the lions share of the business traffic, and it's pretty clear that DL wants to pick up the overhead traffic that they were contributing.

Wasn't the "rest of us" who called someone out for a typo, while leaving one of his own in.

That's not a linguistics issue, that's irony.

But hey, blame your PC if it makes you feel better. If you'd never gone out of your way to be a D-bag in the first place, you wouldn't now be in the positions of wasting bandwidth trying to rationalize it.

Tell ya what; how 'bout you win the debate based on what people say, and not how they say (spell) it?

Spelling flames are the domain of the weak. Is that really where you want to be?

I accepted responsibility but said it was a browser issue.  You can see it as deflection.
 
I am now using Firefox on this computer and it is working fine. 
 
I can win the debate on both counts.... but I also expect people who attempt to take leadership positions to demonstrate it.
 
Continuously repeating the same error is not leadership.  Repeating the same errors is in fact weakness. 
 
Of course you fail to note that I have repeatedly acknowledged that you are one of the most articulate - and accurate - writers on this forum.  As for other posters, E and Josh and dawg and others do not usually have spelling or grammatical errors either,
 
I can give credit to those who earn it and still debate the topics at hand. 
 
Praising someone for their spelling capability on the forums is almost as inane as criticizing it.

Then again, you do like to hear yourself type...

I'm simply noting that some people manage to use correct grammar and spelling and don't repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
 
if you don't like being praised, can you not just walk away?

I am not surprised you interpret my compliments negatively but I am still very, very sad for you that you cannot accept compliments and can only see the dark and negative side of every situation.  You have not only proven repeatedly that you can't accept compliments but you also can't offer praise to anyone or any organization- again not surprising since you can't see the good in someone else if you can't believe the good about yourself.
 
Whether you choose to see and believe it or not, Kevin, I believe and always will, that you are one of the most articulate, witty participants in the airline chat world. 
 
meanwhile, DL IS building its hub in SEA and the moves by other carriers only make it more certain that DL will succeed on a long-term basis
