Conversely, we are being asked to make AA pilots' bankruptcy less painful. They keep their pension, they become part owners, they are at this very moment being compensated better than we, does this sit well with you?

It's not "how it sits with me" that matters, it's what do I have the leverage to get.

If you believe we have the leverage to get more and can live with the conseqences if you're wrong then vote no but please don't vote based on how you feel.

The bottom line for me is do they need our COC or can they get around it.

I'd submit a better question is: Why do they want it gone? To be closely followed by: Why are both the coc and essentially all serious scope protections to be surrendered, well, in direct exchange for exactly WHAT?

I've got to say, If what US pilots are getting is less than what AA pilots are getting, it's a travesty, especially in light of last year's record profits. A very compelling argument indeed. Does anyone have a comparison showing just what the AA pilots were offered, or a link to it?
You and the ready of you whining little bitches really need to just STFU and understand that Parker has been putting money in your pockets for 8 years now. Every dollar is more than you were ever going to see from your doomed airline. The incredible arrogance and irrationally inflated sense of self worth is laughable. APA is WORTH more so they GET more. USAPA?......LOL!!!!! You guys can't even get paid like an America West pilot....that's pathetic. Apropos. This MOU is going to pass with flying colors. You guys are the most loathsome , miserably bitter pricks in the industry NOW. Can't wait to see how much farther you'll go when this MOU and the Nic get shoved up your 6. This will be epic. Can't wait.

If they could get around it they would have by now, DB wrote up a world class C of C, why would you keep on asking for something you could get around.

OH no, another Fodase meltdown in progres, your a very funny guy "you can't get paid like a AWA pilot" oh that's so rich coming from the lowest paid in the industry since inception, Now go lie down take a Xanex and a few deep breaths........that's right relax all is well. Doomed airline "Project Zanzibar" in case you have forgotten, your starting to sound like you potty mouth friend JJ aka. Move2.

Those who have always jumped at the chance to give more concession sound silly when they talk about assessing leverage, or cry aloud in agony for the E190 pilots that aren't covered by CoC snap backs. Thank goodness someone is reminding us to take the junior guys into account.

Parker is on record as saying a merger won't happen if CoC is triggered. They have asked us in both MOU I and MOU II to relinquish CoC. In the current MOU the section addressing this is the only section that is written in plain English. In our merger with AWE this provision was waived. We needed a merger back then.

How do you think they will get around CoC in the present scenario?

Honest question.

Ah, I get it. You want Crimi in on the debate, but ONLY if he agrees with your point of view. Otherwise, he should shut up.
Naaa, I just don't think he should be out in the hall backstabbing whoever he can find to whoever will listen. Even McKee has more class than that. I blame those that back him as much as I do him. If everyone agreed, it wouldn't be much of a debate now would it?

Pay protection? Sorta..

If you get bumped to a 190 (you will certainly hold a line) but your pay protection ends the moment you don't accept a reserve position that pays a higher rate at any base. Who is going to commute to a reserve position that pays a higher rate but only pays reserve guarantee? Even if one would it would still be a net loss. Either way pay protection terminates and a net loss is incurred.

But maybe by then the back pay will be arriving in the mail.

Oooohhhh, ahhhhh. Wow.
If you got bumped off of your previous equipment, you were a reserve ALREADY. Block holders don't get bumped that way. This question was asked during the presentation and the NAC and APA reps said it would be revisited during negotiations on the JCBA.

I don't believe at this point the merger is a done deal and I don't believe the UCC will vote for it if CoC is going to be triggered.

I didn't see the part where line holders can't be displaced, or the part where reserves in base, who become line holders on the 190, won't then be required to commute to another base on reserve. Please do point it out if its there.

Trader,

A post i can agree with and easily live with.
Oooohhhh, ahhhhh. Wow.

So how bout USAPA get back to the primary goal of getting us a contract. I didn't vote for mou consideration in priority of our union right for a jcba. So sorry if the timing does not fit the UCC demands.
