Another welder's prediction proven bad. You really suck at this Dave. Hopefully amfa will retain you as an organizer!
I already filled out my card and it will be in the mail tomorrow. It doesn't get any easier than that. Just think of the bright side...... another year of comical postings by the officers of the TWU. Let the games continue...

Since The NMB has not yet released its final ruling and Amfa has an oppurtunity to object to the NMB decision. I think the cards that are being collected as you say will be null and void. Unless you intend on doing more fraud like filling in the blanks later!
I also understand the release of confidential AA employees Information is still alive and well! I believe I would be rethinking my trust in these amfa organizers. You could end up in jail, fined or defending a lawsuit!

Ok, so it looks like our drive to get to AMFA is following the usual path. Our brothers at UAL had to go though this. The IAM tried to stop the election by making sure that most of the guys were laid off first. It didnt work. Persitance is the key to success!
Lets not forget that every time AMFA files the incumbant organizations, the airlines and the NMB conspre to stop the election. This is not paranoia. At the 2003 TWU COPE Convention one of the speakers was a member of the NMB who the TWU helped to get the job. He remarked about how they have to fight AMFA. Every time that AMFA gets an election the NMB changes the rules a little more to make changing unions a little more difficult.
While many are dissapointed that we did not get to vote, I havent run across anybody that will not fill out the card again. In fact as time goes by and our real coimpensation continues to decrease due to higher out of pocket medical costs and the effects of inflation discontent with the TWU is likely to increase even more.
It should not be hard to get all the cards signed again, I've spoken to many Ramp guys also, they will fill out "ANY" card that is handed to them. I would suggest asking these guys to fill out both cards, AMFA and the AGW. Maybe then we can both file at the same time!
