Fine. I can buy that. So instead of "we'll shut the company down rather than negotiate," why not try "we'll negotiate if Dave leaves" instead?
If they can't honor the agreements that they all ready agreed to why should you sit down and negotiate when they can't even abide by what they all ready agreed to?

So ethically, morally there is no difference between a Wal-Mart shopper and Jerry Glass. They both have placed their buying criteria in the same order. Price first, last & always.
Bingo. And that's why, in fact, you won't find any Wal-Mart bags in my closet.

Well, unless "they" is defined by the job rather than the person, making the removal of "them" part of the criteria for negotiation makes your question academic.

So Cav, tell me does belief in the evil of Jerry Glass in the workplace extend to your personal shopping cart? or would I find Wal-Mart bags in your closet?

I don't shop at Wal*Mart even though their food is cheaper. In fact funny you asked because a few co-workers and I were talking about this very thing recently and some of them do buy their stuff there. I still go to the same places I always did, even pay a little more, but guess what, those people are still working there and they are unionized too. It's called Giant Eagle for food and Sears for most other stuff, Wal*Mart shoppers are making billionaires into trillionairs!

The people, Dave Siegel, Jerry Glass, Doug McKeen, Neal Cohen and Al Hemenway are the people who agreed to the last to contracts (concessions) and they are the very same people who are violating our contract on a daily basis.

Right. So, as I suggested before, make their removal a criterion for agreeing to come to the table. Would you be willing?

No, they have squandered over $2 billion per year, we give them ideas everyday to save money and it goes on deaf ears.

No Airline has ever been saved by the wallets and jobs of the employees.

Go ask ALPA and the AFA who just won two arbitrations against the company. And I will be working on major grievances this week. Why don't worry about company machines, you DON'T work here, you NEVER have, your begining to sound like a certain capt.

And don't you have an office to break into and steal from your coworkers like you have told us how you got ahead in the job place?

I think it is time for a cold one.

Oh, I see. Because the current team has squandered over $2B, it no longer matters who's running the show, there's no negotiation. Got it.

Prove what you say!

Sure we will.

See, we don't have to prove a thing to you or anyone. We work here, NOT you or the other wizards telling us how to run OUR lives and business.

Nice you're a Pax, but it ends there piney, completely, and why I ignore most of your rants.

That's the second time you've said this today. But without the proof, there's not a whole lot to back up the argument. And if you're not trying to back up your argument, why are you arguing in the first place?

I'm just trying to understand where you're going with this...
