You are correct! He is well known and respected by the people who know him . For the 5 on here from maint. who obviously have an agenda, its sad you hide behind your screename and say the things you do and he has his name etc out there. He has never tossed the insults the five on here toss. He has always posted his opinion without insults. No one on this board will respect or give credit to anyone who does nothing but spew hatred, distain, and bitterness.tim said:

Before this all came to a head, before we figured this management team out, figured Jerry Glass out, thanks to observant union leaders, we all gave them the benefit of the doubt and you were nowhere to be found. Thanks Itrade , I think . It amazes me , the guy doesnt get it. The only 3 people i have a problem with on this board, are the 3 who beat up on anyone with an oppisite opinion. All you need to do cav is copy all our post line them up side by side and the picture will speak for itself. Please spend you time wisely and try to make a difference. instead of bashing people. Here is the kind of Management team we are talking about.
First of all the maintenance of the belt system will be paid for above and beyond what the airline is currently paying in airport fees. The fact that the IAM can do it cheaper is of no consequence. The company wants any satelitte operation contracted out to take power away from the Unions, not to save money.
The contracting out of MDA catering in the 3 major Hubs PIT,CLT,and PHL is not cost efficient. The whole system is catered from these 3 stations, and we already have the people and equipment. How is contracting it out saving money?
The company is talking about competing against Southwest in PHL and elsewhere. I am Fleet Service and I know for a fact that a employee with the same years of service that I have is compensated better than I am. I can't speak for the other work groups but I do know that is fact. By the way Southwest does their own catering.
Along the years US was complaining about the competition from Southwest and now that Southwest is just about leading the industry in compensation the Company wants to cry about JetBlue and others. All of a sudden the Company wants ideas from the workers on how to save costs. We've been trying to get them to listen to our ideas for years! Maybe if they would have listened to some of our ideas we would not be in the situation we are in know.
At one time a fellow worker and I worked it out in black and white how to save the company money on PAWOBS. You want to know the answer we were given by the station manager that requested the info and was presented with it? I am sorry but that does not come out of our budget. Who cares whos budget it comes from, we were saving the company a minimum of $150,000 a month, and that was in one station.
Sometimes you wonder if this management team really wants it to work. This blatant disregard sometimes of good ideas from the front lines makes you wonder what their agenda really is.
I am only speaking about and not for Fleet Service ,but our work rules and compensation are below par with what Southwest gets. Go find it elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This well is dry.
Notice I spoke of only Fleet Service which I am part of and NO OTHER GROUP.
I hope US survives but I don't see it happening with the tactics that are being used.

Let’s air this in the open. I did send you a PM, you and Itrade BOTH and stated I would like to meet you and Itrade. And also stated you would not like meeting me. Both of you people, Itrade I believe is a guy, you I have no idea about, anyway both of you took the opportunity to call that a threat. I would still like to meet you and him, especially Itrade because he is a fellow amateur operator same as I am. Anyway, being so different I stated you would NOT like to meet me, meaning my opinion would NOT be changed and neither of you could possible change my mind. I believe Itrade took advantage of the opportunity to call it a threat and I believe you are just afraid of meeting a real live person and confronting someone you disagree with; all man behind a keyboard and a real coward otherwise.
