New contract now not later locked n loaded
Our battle. Our Fight. No one else is going to fight it for us. "I Need A Contract" before any transition agreement talks. The company and the union had better be listening. The Fleet Service at US has been suffering under two bankruptcy and one transition ageement for many years. The personal hardships and sacrifices by the membership need to be duly recognized by the company. This could be accomplished by the company negotiating in good faith under section 6. To this date; I do not see the company following this agenda in contract negotiations. I believe this is the expectation of the membership. Woe to those who stand in the way.

FWIW CO had the IAM strike on 8/13/83, followed by UFA and ALPA on 10/1/83. UFA and IAM returned on 4/17/85, and ALPA on 9/15/85. Since then there have been 21 bargaining groups release to strike. From 1977 to prior to the CO strikes there was 22 airlines released. I mention this because simply saying "It hasn't happened in forever" is quite irrelevant, when you consider the fact that there have been so few strikes at all since, with similar numbers of strikes in the 8 years preceding as in the 28 years following.

necigrad. WE are over-do for a STRIKE ! Now that the Airline CEO's and WS have consolidated the Industry 35yrs. after DE-REGULATION and making $ hands over fists. Brothers/Sisters are saying to the Union Leadership. WHEN ? WHO ? That's relevant Brother. SOLIDARITY !

Wait till you see this in writing, so much for the superior CWA language:

Wow, just heard this from the CWA, they just gave up scope language.

Non-Union vendors and/or AA non-union CSA and res can do US Airways CSA and RES covered work and vice a versa, and the CWA and IBT are saying to vote yes

My gut says its not so good that they get 3.9% after the merger is completed because they would have to have a rep vote and i think AA has more numbers than US. Which means that that 3.9% is just a carrot that they may never get IMO

FWIW the CWA vote at AA failed by a very slim margin last fall if I'm not mistaken. The CWA would easily carry the day when the agents have a vote.

And so the outsoucing of Customer Service at US begins. If this is true... the CWA and the IBT have opened a Pandora's box. US Customer Service will begin to feel the pain the Fleet Service has endured for the past years concerning weak scope language. Many will be forced to relocate, commute or accept furlough. Welcome to our world. What are these unions thinking? Protecting work and members does not seem to be their agenda. IMO... this is the basic fundamental duty of a labor union. I don't get it! It leads one to wonder just what you're paying union dues for.

Do not pass go do not collect 200 if this contract is true then it must be shot down n send a loud signal to al I hate labor hemmoraging hemmingway n us mgmt enough is enough

The IAM represents three different units at US, once the raid is over and the IAM wins, its time for Sito to go to Parker and say if you want a deal and you want JCBAs time for Hemenway to go bye bye.

Once the raid is over, and if the IAM wins.
There isn't even leverage to get what they're asking for on the CBA, what makes you think they have the leverage to tell Parker that hemenway's out?

blue collar. The leverage is now NMB and SOLIDARITY of Rank and File Members. Events will drive AH to fold and someday retire . So, he can ride off into the sunset on his Harley or Sail away under the GG for good. Contracts NOW !

Kind of like Al Crellin did!

Why such a wide disparity of Class 1 / Class 11 Flights between Pax Srevice and Fleet?
