This is correct.  The AMTs who took the buyout ended up with almost $40,000.  Compare that to the equity we got along with more concessions and you have the perfect formula for the TWU to get enough yes votes (exactly 48) to carry a contract.  Had the buyout not been included in the TA it would not have passed.  They took the money and left us with the concessions.  We, the active employees, are the ones being punished.
