Don't kid yourself. He's just playing off the rumor that Gary Hummel had a heart attack. He's no more sincere in offering a kind word than Donald Trump is asking for a crew cut.

Damn. I heard a rumor so then I had to come to this forum to follow up after having been webboard free for a long time. I wish we could say that there are serious heart attacks and not serious heart attacks, and that Gary's was of the "not serious" variety. But, all heart attacks are bad. I wish Gary and his family the best. Lesson for all you smokers out there.....just sayin'.

I share your thoughts. Wish him a full recovery. I hope Streble decided to set the smokes down.
Smoking killed three of my grandparents. All before their 60th birthdays.

We had our differences but I believe he was honestly trying to mend the tremendous damage done prior to his election and made an effort to reason. That we was hobbled by the likes of the CLT rep's...we certainly can't hold against Gary. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Regardless of Gary's position in our dispute I would like to say that I always felt that Gary has tried to do the best he could given the situation. My prayers for him and his family. I hope he has a quick and complete recovery.
