So now the IAM is Fleet’s “daddy”. Seriously? Where do you get this stuff? Have you heard the phrase “Pot, meet Kettle”. That is exactly the role you are trying to play, as “You” know what is best for Fleet Service at US, and for UA for that matter, and you don't even work there. Granted, even without your "guidance" I would have voted that POS down. And if anybody disagrees with you, or does the opposite, they are wrong or mindless followers. Your opinion, views, way of doing things, are not always right, may be right for you, but not for everybody. And it does not mean that the opposing opinion, views, way of doing things are wrong either. The sad part is, you would have had so much to offer this group, hell you proved that in 2008, but your hatred for RD, and the ND has clouded your mind, and put you into a singular focus of trying to destroy anything and everybody that disagrees with your way. Even when you were running for PDGC, all you spoke about were YOUR accomplishments, and not that of your running mates. It was always I did this, or MY tenacity won that election, or MY team. No accolades for your running mates. Why was that? Now you have a problem with a LOA that PROTECTS JOBS, because why exactly? Because you didn’t do it? Because it was not your idea? Because your name is not attached to it? Get over yourself already.

P.S. Did Bonar consult with you before he screwed over all of Fleet Service with this Classification Seniority scheme, just so his manager friends wouldn’t lose any time? Just curious?
 
That's right; you had a plan, and it was a good one (at least it seemed to be from here). Then that team ran right into the same stultifying wall as those that came before them.

One more time: It's far above the N/D level, and it's not just the IAM, but the leadership of most of organized labor.

What would I do? I'm working towards the exact opposite of what I've noted earlier. You've been quoting my posts; haven't you been reading them?


That’s not very specific! Tell me what mechanism you are going to employ to correct ALL these issues. Are you going to run for office? Get involved as an educator? Become politically active at the national level? -- Or… maybe just be an armchair critic in an online forum?

And yeah... I've benn reading your posts... talk...talk...talk...talk! Again... what have YOU done specifically to rectify these inequities?
 
So-- Layout “your” plan for correcting this apathy, lack of interest, and Leadership arrogance. We had a plan in 08, and we were successful in ousting a whole lot of Union Leaders. The N/D folks lived it, and I lived it with them! It wasn’t that long ago, and I’ll assure you they are still carrying the same determination now… that they had then!

Solidarity building is easy but it starts with leadership and does away with fear. Thats what bc and russo and my team built when we won organizing drives. Building solidarity and educating members of their worth is what b slapped you bastards who wanted to keep talking down to our members telling them how the laws preclude fairness. Hey arse-hole those are the same laws that been around when powerful airline unions existed. All u can think about is your next bottle and retirement. is there an exact date set for the start of talks again pertaining to new contract
secondly where in dallas do the talks take place is it like in the headquarters of aa similar to us in phx or no

Could be at a hotel since US doesnt have offices in DFW, or could be at an IAM union hall, the DOL does have an office in Dallas.

The update has when the next negotiation session will take place.

You claim solidarity is easy to build. Is it really? Let's take a look at Airtran as an example:

1. 2900 were eligible to cast a vote under your campaign.

2.1299 voted yes.

3. 557 voted no.

4. 1044 didn't even bother to vote.

5. That makes 55% of Airtran employees NO votes under the old rules.

You were lucky the old rules didn't apply anymore. Also, we know that the vote was aided by the fact that the merer with SW had been announced and not having a Union was scaring them And still 55% voted no or didn't vote. Tim, team building and solidarity aren't as easy to come by even if you want to claim so now is it? I have asked you to help all of the membership by getting off the BS but you continue to spew your hate. Things could get better if not for your divisive behavior. Work with us not against us.

the nd treats us like children and if u cant understand that then thats too bad for u. What loa? Stop putting words in my mouth. I dont think the membership would agree with the leaderships refusal thus far to post the loa. Cb doesnt even have any juice to get the loa posted. Why isnt it posted so we can read for ourselves? These guys suck and that is separate from my opinion. You will see that they dont give a rats arse about you. Logically ur own opinion is not supported as unlike me, you are brainwashed and think that they screwed hawaiian and screwed united bigtime but wont screw u? Lmao. Trust me i didnt like forcing my firing over a good paying job but i dont like sucking management arse like nd and betraying the idea and the membership. how can i work with a group that has continually divided and caused apathy to get bull crap political agendas passed on the backs of workers???? There may be a few independent minds on the eboard worth salvaging but most of them have proven to be weak and ineffective against delaneys treason at hawaiian and united.
You and mm are fine but its extremly difficult to work under delaney when he makes such arsehat agreements against the membership. It was better that i got fired so i can be among the masses and charge against delaneys attacks on workers. I feel the biggest accomplishments that i have been a part of are not organizing thousands of workers but shutting down a ta that was a win win for the iam and management but bigtime lose for our united brothers and sisters. And i was humbled that the ua members voted overwhelmingly for me to lead the uprising against the ta. I am no longer mysterious to the ua brothers and sisters and they embraced me as there own blood,which i am, even though the leadership made ridiculous attempts to segregate my message by saying im non ua. My message is universal and transcends since it is the message of justice and cuts the establishment that tries to oppress my peeps. regards,

I'll be honest, I don't think that's something you'll see until we get to the joint agreement, simply because that's not something we would feel we have to have now in order to move to joint talks. Don't know who is going to be on that committee, but I would hope we would have both, and if not, give the members a one time choice of which one they would prefer. That's just my 2 cents. I really don't know how to take that since I don't believe the membership feels that way and wants you to be negotiating for retirement increases NOW. And what does that telegraph to the company that our NC is saying that it doesn't feel 'the membership has to have now."?????? You see? In DL142 update, their nc spoke 100% differently and blasted the company for the company's position of not wanting to increase retirement and labeled it as 'ridiculous'. How can DL142 NC label it 'ridiculous' but then you don't 'feel' the membership has to have it now? I mean, I know management doesn't feel that the membership has to have any retirement increase but it is in 'poor taste' for our NC to say it doesn't feel it is necessary at this time. WTH are you guys doing over there??? Because I for sure know damn well that the membership wants the retirement addressed before joint talks. You do know that joint talks takes years don't you? So what the hell would we wait longer for??? What is more disturbing is that you think scope is taken care of and that the LOA means you can now focus on other things. WTH? That LOA doesn't enhance 'squat' right before joint talks. That LOA expires in less than 12 months and I doubt joint talks even start before then Trust me, you are doing 'severe negotiation damage' coming on here saying you don't feel it is necessary to have an increase in retirement benefits, and your other comment that "now that that is addressed [scope concerns] you can move on to other things". I hope you guys are still negotiating scope because it's the most important thing and the essence as to why the membership has you in negotiations. If you guys can't enhance the scope with a new contract then what are you guys doing? Bring the scope down to a lower bar so more stations can come inside it and make sure any new TA doesn't have drop dead dates that turn into dust after the 'witches hourglass' runs out. regards, edit: I see the LOA has now been published.
