There was an article on CNN. They spoke with one of the jurors. He indicated that they felt that Libby was just a fall guy. Go figure lol. He also indicated that given the testimony that was presented, they were looking for Rove to show up. Seems they thought his hands were quite dirty as well. I guess the system works, not well but it works. I doubt Libby will see any time and if he does, it will be in a cushy Fed prison. OH well, he took the fall for his boss like a good soldier is supposed to do I suppose.

Hmmm... I guess Bush will have to dust off the ole' "pardon pen" before Obama moves into the oval office! I am sure that the legal team can use the appeal process to delay the actual prison 'start date' so it more closely intersects with Bush's last days in office.

No one was on trial that really did the deed....Dicky Armitage was the guy.....several others too...why go after Scooter?

Because he lied! If Scooter would have just shut-up, then Patty Fitzgerald would have had nothing on him. Then, Scooter could have pulled an Ari Fleischer and testified in return for immunity.

Of course, you'll recall that the most notorious of those pardoned by Clinton was Marc Rich. The lawyer who represented Rich and successfully asked for the pardon??? Scooter Libby.

Guess you missed the list of pardons granted by W. He has already issued 113 pardons and he still has 2 years left in his term.

Reap praise on the left? I believe you have me confused with someone else. The best I have said about the left is that their actions in some instances are not as bad as those of the right in some instances. Both parties are self-serving and useless as far as I am concerned.

You were the one who pointed out that Clinton has granted 145 pardons. I merely pointed out that W was already at 113 and still had two years to go. You don't think he will grant another 32 in two years? Hint: he as averaged 18.32 per year already so at the very least he will tie Clinton.
