East...here in KC thugs usually operate alone. Where are you that they travel in packs?

My family history for family members I have known goes back to 1892....121 years. In that time, on my moms side and my dads side of the family, we have had to deal with thugs a grand total of ....zero times. This family was in Ohio, Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Kansas and North Carolina. And we just never had a thug attack us where we needed a gun. I didn't like double barrel shotguns, and a pump action would give you a couple of extra shots.

Gosh, I remember in the old days when just chambering a 12 gauge made a noise that made most thug turn tail and run. I guess today most thugs have had al queda training and will stand their ground.

1) Where does anyplace (outside of Fantasyland) exist that even a single thug's best met with a freshly unloaded shotgun, made so by blindly firing off it's rounds into who-knows-where, while instantly specifying your location in the process?.....And...can you really now, even possibly, be attempting to defend that village idiot biden's hopeless stupidity?

2) Our references differ. Your people have been very fortunate. My family's formal history with weapons goes back to the Army of the Republic of Texas and hit every noteable conflict since then. Firearms were always just a part of normal life, and the use of them for survival, through harsh necessity, was sometimes not restricted to warfare.

Using Joe-boy Biden's fantasies; you really should just wait to break down your double barrel (not to be confused with anything holding more than 2 rounds) and patiently load it, then step blindly outside (if you make it that far) and stupidly fire off both rounds un-aimed. I'm almost shocked that you would even consider having any multi-shot weapon (which should "certainly" be made illegal!) that just required chambering a round. That's tantamount to blasphemy! Big Bad Joe would NEVER agree! Shotguns should hold only 2 rounds and be used purely as noisemakers!...Why not just suggest that everyone buy a case of party-poppers and pull a couple if attacked in your homes?

Any in government that seek to disarm the American people are acting in direct opposition to personal Freedom and individual Rights, and in fact, can be historically counted on to do more of the same at an ever-increasing rate, should these scum ever prove successful in their efforts...and most very certainly, do NOT have the best interests of those they supposedly "represent" in mind at ALL.....Period.

Hey East...how many times have you personally had to use a gun to protect your home and family...not display it, but actually shoot it. If it's once or more, in how many of those instances did you fire your weapon more than 7 times?

I've been fortunate in not yet having had the need to do so. I hope to never have to. In earlier years, whenever away from the USA doing my tiny bit to protect those of you back here; it always served to comfort that none at my home were left at all helpless in my absence, and all were well trained in the use of weapons. A more proper question from you would be how many times any I know have gone on insane, murderous rampages? That number would be ZERO. What even POSSIBLY gives you or anyone else proper cause to want to disarm myself or those others noted?

Many millions of our citizens now own the type of weapons that despicable scum like obama and biden wish to steal. Many more thousands such weapons have recently been bought, and are still flying off the shelves of gun stores accross the nation at a record rate. Do you honestly think that all those now buying them are doing so purely with the intention of just giving them to the government in the immediate future? A bottom-line question would be just how many deaths do you honestly think would result from government agencies trying to take all those weapons, and are you perfectly fine with owning, in advance, the blood from that?...And for what "noble" ideal here?....So you can "feel" safer?
