If AMFA is a company union, then why would AA inflate the list in an attempt to keep AMFA out?
Are you agreeing with the company that there are 18000 TWU M&R members?
If so, and there are only around 14000 presently on payroll, counting TWU officials, does that mean that we have 4000 on layoff?
Two years ago when the TWU filed with the NMB they claimed that there was only 16000 in M&R with the addition of TWA.
Last year when the ballots went out it was based on the 16000 number. So if 3000 out of that 16000 were not sent out, plus the other 2000 that you now claim we have, that means that 5000 people did not get ballotts? If thats the case dont you think we need a revote? The vote only passed by 700 votes and according to your numbers, a much greater margin that that were denied ballotts.
It all just goes to show how off track you guys are. You embrace union busting tactics in order to deny your members the right to vote. You promote the corporate style "democracy" and try to mimic it with the TWU, something that the rest of the Labor movement regularly criticizes. You promote more work for less pay. Can you tell me, other than the fact that you believe in compulsory dues, whats the difference between your way of thinking and the company and union busters way of thinking?
