You prove my point exactly. He thrives on people not knowing. It was easy to put forth a litttle effort about the district officer raises. It was on the internet. Can’t get much more public and easier to find than that. But thanks for proving my point.

I’ll agree with your post on the entertaining part.

And you might be correct about when someone goes the other way on the carousel, except when that someone is Nelson. That’s where your wrong. Again, Nelson being the opposing ticket almost always assures a win for the incumbent.

That’s why I try and tell him, but he just doesn’t listen. If he ever hopes to bring about change for those of you that thinks it’s needed, then he needs to get out of the way. But unfortunately for you that want change, he will never do that.

I’m sure you are aware of the fact that in Aug 2016, almost every member got a raise...the average being approx 23.5%. You also realize I’m sure that this was during these very same negotiations.

That’s nice, but unless a JCBA came out in the last 90 minutes, it’s irrelevant with regards to my post.

Again, and one more time. There are many FT district officers besides the 7AA ones. In fact we are very much the minority. The majority of district officers are not in negotiations.

Again, why don’t you try and deceive a little more. A Local has to put forth for a by law change before a convention per the by laws. Let’s look it up and see who is lying.
The district officers can’t do this. Again anybody wants to know who is lying? Look at the bylaws.
Then all the district delegates from across the country vote at the convention on those by law changes.
Then if it passes the convention floor, it goes to the members for a vote and the by laws specifically state when the vote takes place. Again look at the bylaws and see who is lying.
Now your are helping me prove my point about you. Because you know all this is true, but you refused to tell any of the members how it really happens because you know most don’t know, nor would they make the effort to educate their self and find out.

Union elections....oh my.I was driven to a election once we have it at Cassidys ale house its a dive bar (weez its the old stablemates if you remember) well the guys driving us were pushing their candidates one of the guys was actually a candidate i think and they were talking chit about the other candidates we got to the bar i think you had to vote for like 8 people so for my last pick i picked tim showed some people the expression on their face was priceless.Im thinking it was the new direction team but i could be wrong

Again....please try to understand....CB is saying that CURRENTLY we have work like bag chute, abr, etc that ARE PROTECTED...He is saying the company wants to EXPAND the when and where so directed language...which would include the aforementioned.

i didnt see it in pbi. I saw the offer. Therefore i knew your station and my new station was going to have protections for me. Im not going to send the offer to you. You probably wouldnt believe it. And you would prolly make me the bad guy.

Tickets im on always end up better than tickets im not on. Last year, the opposing ticket didnt even get any nominations except 1 after I made a phone call. And the closest any challenger ticket ever got was one I put together where all of us finished less than 300 votes away. Im always the highest scoring lus guy as well.
But, at the end of the day, the infrastructure just keeps the incumbant ticket in. And its the only thing that keeps you an agc. Ask frankie.
At the end of the day, im back to helping peeps to remove the iam. Its easier to get rid of the iam than the officers.

I thought the district officers voted to give themselves a raise and dont talk to me about the election cause i know youre not dumb or naive.Very similar to a Venezuelan election and no i didnt vote.Make it easier to vote, say online and the results woild have been different very different

The point is we are not likely to see anything better or the company is not going move on their last offer and CB confirms this by saying the company us pushing for the PEB

I knew Stablemates very well. Hung out there often after work for a few beers (In our Uniforms BTW) and my Mom was a Bartender there for a little while before I started working for AA.

Actually, the district officers cannot give themselves a raise. It is voted on just as CB has stated. First at the convention by the DELEGATES, then by MEMBERS. FWIW...I’m one who got the raise when THE MEMBERS got one in AUG 2016.
