You see we can agree on things and on this one I agree 100%. Sito Pantoja spoke of Solidarity years ago at the TWU Convention where Harry Lombardo won the Presidency and now I can’t even find that video on YouTube any longer?

I have made friends in the IAM and I respect them as individuals but I can’t condone the individual silence of the IAM as an organization.

It does speak volumes. And it’s more frustrating than the behavior of the Company quite honestly.

It’s on Vimeo not YouTube Weez:

You should be!

You should also keep that in mind before posting about how you dgaf about what happens at other carriers.

That’s painting with a broad brush. Please share where I said I dgaf about what happens at other carriers to mean specifically at all.

I think what I said was along the lines of I don’t care if some other group of workers out there are looking to maybe ride our coattails hoping we get a deal that benefits them.

That would mean even my very own TWU Represented Ramp Brothers and Sisters over at SWA.

I (We) pay dues for our Unions to represent us, not worry (obsess) over anyone else.

Alright even though I’m trying to ignore the guy, I got to admit this one was funny.

So your support for fellow working class Americans is selective. Got it.

It’s not unlimited and entirely self sacrificing no. If it’s someone else’s fight they need to do most of the Heavy lifting.

I’m not gonna help you move your furniture if you’re just gonna sit on your couch watching me work like a damn fool.

You got the wrong guy in me there Jack.

APFA is officially in Negotiations.

The APFA Negotiating Committee met with the Company yesterday and today to discuss and exchange proposals on sections of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The next few rounds of negotiations with the Company are scheduled on:
  • March 27-28, 2019
  • April 17-18, 2019
  • May 14-16, 2019
  • June 18-20, 2019
We have received numerous emails with varying opinions on the current status of Reserve Flight Attendants throughout the system. The Reserve Section of the CBA is extremely important to your Negotiating Committee. We are requesting further data from the Company to allow us to examine the current Reserve numbers and seniorities.

The Negotiating Committee remains committed to hearing your concerns. Membership surveys will be released throughout the negotiating process to allow your voice to be heard. Please email us at negotiate@apfa.org with any comments or questions.

Stay tuned as we continue to work towards a TA (Tentative Agreement).

Only 4 Days scheduled the first 2 Months and 6 days scheduled the next 2.

And they’re just starting. Who knows what they’re asking for?

This is part of an E-Mail update on TWU Local 568’s Tuesday Membership Meeting where they discussed multiple issues but this was the part that particularly spoke on Negotiations.

  • JCBA Negotiations Update
“We discussed some serious issues about the JCBA mediation meetings, where one of the as of now is the scope where the company wants attrition, in other the company wants to take away our work, the company is basically after us, for our jobs.

The company to use a type of language that will open the door to massive reduction as the company fitshey want everyone to work on what they called core work of offloading and loading of planes which means lay-offs in many into perspective Miami alone would be affected by 702 FSC jobs includes Cargo, Bag room, Lavs, LTS, Encoders, Expediters. The Negotiation Committee and the International have the responsibility to bring back the contract possible. We don’t agree with a concessionary contract. Not when the company is making record profits, all we are asking is to secure and guarantee the jobs we already perform. Also, the Crew Chief scope is an issue where the company wants to make the Crew Chief part of the crew and in the belly.”
Weez, Take me off ignore.
I told you this was coming. Do not deny it. Although it is not T/A day yet, you are now getting little tidbits from this BS asso. that concessions are coming with huge job losses over the life of the contract.
Once again weezy, you are proven wrong.
I will now add you to the long list (once again) of ITYS. LMAO big time...
