the assoc. wasn't kidding when they said that aa pulled all the scope. looks like the cc/lead issue is back on the table.

there have to be dozens and dozens of C/Cs who'll lose a little bit of sleep for awhile.

the 40 year guys who can't move are eyeballing manning and support or whatever the lus terms are, control and roc.

The “Crew Chiefs” Duties Article is pretty much finished.

The few lazy CC’s we still have out there need to get off their asses anyway but they’re not going to have to worry about dropping dead of Heart Attacks when they read the language.

I’m going to be civil unlike yourself.

Thank you for the second find for a IBT direct link. I did not find it a few minutes ago.

Can you find me anything anywhere earlier though that stated officially that they had agreement and weren’t going to vote on that?

I challenge you to find any comment that I made that said you were misinformed or were lying about the information you received from the one poster in the Freight threads.

I know this is hard for you to fathom but all posters on Airline Forums have the same ability as you to peruse other threads besides the ones in the Companies we actually work for.

My greatest difficulty here on Forums is that I actually argue with individuals who are clearly mentally detached. Mainly yourself, Tim Nelson, Conehead777 and a few of the angry souls who occasionally migrate down from the Water Cooler.
Like I have told GVP before, I am done with doing your work for you or anyone else.
I entrusted a man I know that works at UPS and have been in contact with since day one of the last two contracts at UPS. His information is also straight from the members page on the 2727 website as well. The information is out there for all to see and read.

According to sources the proving flights will be an actual online inbound ETOPS aircraft everyday this week starting Tuesday arriving from LAX at 07:00. The OAK ground crews will work the Turn as a real live ETOPS flight. Departure time said to be 0800-11:45 HNL (2hr turn) HNL 14:00-21:00 OAK.
And the bird will rotate back at 22:15 to LAX.
Wednesday the aircraft does an OAK-OGG-OAK.
Then Thursday it's OAK-HNL-OGG-OAK.
Friday and Saturday are planned diverts simulations.
That’s off topic what dose this have to do with topic ass hat

Brothers and Sisters,

The Association Executive Committee met with the assigned mediators and a member of the National Mediation Board to gain a better understanding of the remaining open items. The robust dialogue was productive and ensured the meetings would continue throughout the week.

We were able to resolve and TA the M&R/MLS Field Trip guidelines. We addressed the Fleet Crew Chief duties as part of our Classifications and Scope discussions. That section is settled, leaving the remainder of these Articles to be resolved.

In Atlanta next week, we will continue to seek a resolution to the Fleet Service Classifications and Qualifications Articles. We will also refocus next week’s discussions in Atlanta on the open Scope items for all groups.

The Executive Negotiating Committee continues to update the full negotiating committee each step of the way and, foolishly, the Company believes that our members are willing to make Scope concessions that will pay for the pay raises and other gains in this contract. American Airlines must recognize that this membership will not fall for fool’s gold just to reach an agreement and that we have every intention of achieving the best contract in the industry.

Our membership sacrificed through bankruptcies and concessions in order for American to become the world’s largest and most successful airline. The time is now for this membership to be recognized and rewarded for those sacrifices. American Airlines must understand: if it takes a fight to get there, it is a fight they shall have.

Company Executives have spent billions on stock buybacks that enrich themselves and Wall Street. It is an insult they are not willing to spend what it takes to protect our work, health care, retirement benefits and increase our pay.

Company negotiators made it as clear as they could – they want us to concede the work we do. Their proposals and positions at the bargaining table attack every Association classification. They want to eliminate massive numbers of jobs in overhaul maintenance, increase the amount of line maintenance that can be performed by others internationally, decimate the skill and amount of facilities maintenance performed in-house, and vendor out any Fleet work they see fit. Every classification is affected by these draconian Company proposals.

While all the other benefits of our contracts are important, none is more important than the guarantee that our work will be here for us. If you are an Association member reading this message, you are part of this fight. Standing together, we shall prevail!

Future mediation dates scheduled:

The week of February 11- ATL
The week of March 18- DFW
The week of April 22- FLL

Your Association Executive Negotiating Committee

yawwwwwnnnnnnn. There are several strawmen in this update. Whatever the case, the company never ever offered to eliminate bagroom and get rid of all ramp jobs. To this day, all 40 stations are still included along with most of the work, minus Catering and Lavs which is documented that Baskett lost for us.
But, since the IAM knows that it already lost LUS health care and catering and lavs, it will perfectly time the slam dunk updates that say "Because of your solidarity, and us fighting like hell, we managed to secure all 40 stations and bagrooms and most of the work that the company wanted. We are not thrilled as we had to give up LUS health care and catering and lavs, but your committee believes this is the best deal we can get."

That will be the last update leading up to our vote. I can guarantee that 100%. Because I've seen the offers and the offers aren't budging, so I know the BS. In truth, the union became powerless when it went for the money only and tossed the JCBA to the side with the dues grab. But it has to show it is relevant so it builds the strawmen so at least it can say that it attained most of the things. Like I said, it can pick any narrative it wants, I just want it to bring out the offer and let people vote soon.

regards,

We are. You keep posting the negotiating update to fit your narrative but the mediators rely on industry patterns. Although you and Mr Baskett and Cltrat have consistently said that what happens at United, UPS, Southwest, etc doesn't affect us, most intelligent labor people understand that what happens at UPS affects Southwest, especially since an arbitrator ruled. And that affects the TWU MX.

I try telling you but you don't listen.

here, a quick Facebook look has many of your MX TWU mechanics talking about this and thrilled. So, even though you don't think higher industry wages at other air carriers matters, even the average joe on the street understands this basic pattern concept. Your handler Mr Peterson doesn't understand this either.

If this is the case then why are still posting local 2727 mobile website on here?
And, how does it feel to have someone come in talk about everything else besides the topic of the thread?? you did this with the mechanics thread in AA and when they asked you to stop and leave you insisted that you would not and you got even worse.
Then you post this here:
Let me give you a little hint again. That IS NOT the front page of the 2727 website. Keep trying though

Didn't the arbitrator agree that WN can be based off of UPS wages?
Tim, I am not sure if it was mediator or arbitrator but yes, the final ruling that came out was that they could in fact use UPS in comparo for the same job in the same industry. A dispatcher is a dispatcher, a meteorologist is a meteorologist, and yes an aircraft mechanic is an aircraft mechanic. All same jobs and same industry.
