American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

look goofball, im not trying to build any respect for me, ive got plenty. Enuf respect that the district and intl changed their bylaws because of me. Id like to try to get the membership to respect itself. They deserve better than the battered wife syndrome. Once they are self aware, they would demand one of their twu prez in the room. Among other things.

The TWU in Fleet has 3 of our Presidents in the room in Alex Garcia (MIA) Mike Mays (SFO) and Andre Sutton (LAX)

And as a matter of fact they don’t all just hang out in a room down the hall. Some go back to their Hotel rooms and come back to receive the updates and give feedback on those events.

When I read or hear any of those Presidents begin to complain because they are not directly in those talks then maybe I’ll begin to have some personal alarm bells go off.

Even more astonishing, is that after CB mops the floor with him again, and again... he claims that he won the debate!

At some point, the dog and pony show will be over. We wont be offered any more, and we may have to vote on concessions if they extend it 5+ years. And God forbid lose all the raises after a inevitable submission. Ive seen this play over and over, then they will eventually blame the mediators.

if you guys really wanna organize, lemme know. i wont be doing the yearly card signing just to satisfy afl numbers. Should be able to collect and file to have an election in 6 months. No iam guarantees that there wont be collateral damage from management but you guys would be in charge.
