You can see the bad quality of AA with their ranking in all aspects being at or close to the bottom. Scanners that are certainly not advanced technology being used and malfunctioning on a daily basis. Some really non professional stuff going on that I've never seen before. Like you said, lots of negative talk by guys with the lack of direction. It's as if they are running this company as if we are Spirit Air. A few flight attendants that I know are equally alarmed at how things are going. I know mergers are rough, but this is not good in a service business.

yeah, i think you sum it up well. the former aw/us air people that run this airline now: lack of direction for the airline and a consistent philosophy of not sharing anything with it's employees.

on jetnet, you read comments/musings/suggestions/statements from concerned laa pilots, F/As, AMTs, fac and auto maintenance, FSCs, stores and ticket agents and you detect more cynicism and sarcasm. some real good points from equipment usage, route scheduling, cabin classes...even us air's dysfunctional and garbage QIK computer system over laa sabre...sabre which was the trophy of all airline systems for decades.

i've read some nervous posts about another BK, i don't see it. company will be fine and another BK will tie their hands in regards to enriching themselves..don't want to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. the fact that more and more people want/need to fly and the shale oil revolution will guarantee this airline making profits, just like parker gushed.

thats a great idea Al. Tell them that once we get rid of basketts $225,000 expense, we can take that money and do a march madness poll and toss his $225,000 (salary/health/2 pensions) in the poll and everyone can win a big chunk.
