I hear a TA is coming out fairly soon...told sooner rather than later. Pack those bags, Tim.
yes, i was told things are moving quick, for once. Thats why im gonna leave ord now or never. they will have alot of openings but afterwards it may be tough.
 
i think there will be plenty of openings "now" due to possible buyouts. ill be out of ord in 60 days no doubt
 
Lol. Believe me, I'll be out of ORD, one way or the other prior to a TA. If I have to put in for numerous stations then fine. Not worried. Although I do like the ORD TWU Union Leaders here. Caring people. Maybe I'll go to ONT. I'm not interested in CLT, PHL, DCA, BOS, LGA. Pretty much going to start with MIA (although a very small LUS presence). JAX, TPA, PBI, FLL all fair game! Without being picky, I won't have a problem. I believe there will be plenty of openings coming up according to My Key Person.

As far as UDIC, that's funny. But I think a name ought to reflect the property or vision. UDIC may be able to have its own web page though I guess. You ought to start it.

yea, i dont think weez understands. things are fixing to open up. My buddy told me and I think he is more knowledgeable than weez' pal.
Id prefer anywhere in florida especially rsw but been told not for now. I really want Southeastern florida to fish for the peacock bass.
Time to submit the transfer requests on monday. Based on what I know, ill be outta ord within 60 days.

This might be the first time since I ever caught wind (Gas) of your existence that you were right about something financial.

You probably do spend about $10,000 on Taxes and Tolls.

Not to mention whatever it is you’re paying for rent?

You do realize Piedmont and US merged 8/5/89.

Why wouldn’t they keep their time?

Fuelers are not part of Fleet Service Class and Craft. Therefore any fueler who went to the ramp couldn’t use their fueling classification date for ramp. Those Piedmont fuelers had to go into the mechanic class and craft to keep their seniority.

No fueler at Piedmont got ramp time.

Ramp at Piedmont kept their seniority and were dovetailed.

It seems you don’t get the NMB’s rules for class and craft.

And any part timer at PI got their part time seniority cut in half when they went full time for their classification date.

the man is lucky he has piedmont seniority..as if, piedmont is the super-uncle of today's aa. hopefully, that piedmont time will help him bump or beat out a laa guy who's fine with the seniority rulings.

all javits did was rubber-stamp the twu's indifference and the iam's luck.

The Piedmont/US Air merger seniority intergration was done under and in accordance with the Allegheny/Mohawk Labor Protection Provisions.

And USAir gave the former Empire employees their full seniority as Piedmont didn’t upon the Piedmont/Empire Merger.

Piedmont ramp was non-union and US Air were IBT but at only BOS, BUF, PHL and PIT.

Wrong again. US Air were represented by the IBT everywhere. The PSA merger had the former PSA rampers as Teamsters. That merger was prior to the Piedmont merger.
There was an election, prior to the Piedmont/USAir seniority integration. The Teamsters were then certified to represent all USAir rampers after the election. But as I was leading the organizing in CLT, 700 was dumping lavs and telling everyone to vote no and then try for the IAM in a couple years. His devious plan worked and he caused us to lose the Teamsters.
