Probably like NYer once said on here. To keep people a little uncomfortable so they’ll actually concentrate on Negotiating instead of their own personal lives.

And besides the fact SFO and FLL have suitable Winter climates not to worry about Weather issues too.

Makes sense actually.
Sounds like a lot of settling in.Do CEOS conduct business at offices all around the country?

Perhaps its one of the reason it takes so.long to get a contract

I know you can’t stand any of these people Al but do you seriously think it’s easy for them to be away from their families staying in Hotels so much? (Despite the fact they did sign up for it)

Many of these people actually still have young Children.

Yeah but i would think it would be easier for everyone if it were in one place.

they are looking at hotel points. They are with their families alot. usually leave on monday afternoon or tuesday morn and fly back thursday night. There was never any reason to have 16 negotiating committee members all sitting around. They arent negotiators and they dont negotiate. They simply get updated with what sito wants them to know.

No one could give me an unbiased answer as to why the meetings are all over the country

I dont know the man but there was a contract where we lost seniority if furloughed How do you explain that.

Literally every contract I've been under you lose some kind of seniority when furloughed if out long enough...do you think a company will allow you to gain company seniority and accrue towards your pension when you are on the street?...hey I'm all for it but it wasn't happening under a TWU contract at AA...All I know of Reagan is that he was very professional on the negotiating and seniority committee...

Swear to god weez these negotiators could steal pencils from.the blind and you would say its okay. Its like you said they signed on, i worked 6 days a week every week and made 80k thats with profit sharing and 1k bonus so no i dont pity anyone signing on to 150k a year plus meal vouchers. If they arent in negotiations what do they have to be there for anyway

Things are a little blurry for me back then but if i remember we were more worried about survival and they kinda put that im"oh by the way".......real kick in the ass when we were already down.Again i dont know if that dude had anything to do with it....but i heard things

I’ve never gave it much though myself
Of course if they got to you or me it would be done for anyway but i remembered when they closed ISP some of those guys went to PHL waiting for an opening in LGA.There were always openings in LGA so some took the furlough and waited.Say they closed FLL and you waited for an opening at Mia.Scenario could happen

Unfortunately for you there are a lot more suck asses than spots, just ask Todd or Sydney. Keep on plugging away for this BS Alliance and against Union democracy but I wouldn't bank on the spot if I were you, perhaps that's why you play it safe and do it all from behind an alias. So none of your peers know what you are.
