Seems to me as if you have been repeating this same line for many months now.

BTW Tim if you actually do know anyone on the Company side please tell them that we are not going to trade off jobs for money just because now the Company has the money to offer.

We’re doing just fine right now and can wait.
Do you think they care or have a worry in the world about us?
Consider, for a moment, that you have a contact in upper management and tell him/her yourself that you are doing ok as is. That person will say great. The offer on the table isnt cost neutral, it puts us over 10% total package over southwest and united and alot more than that in our current stance. Right now our FTE package is just under $90,000. After a jcba it will be over $100,000. From a company standpoint, i think they would be laughing their ass off cuz each month that goes by they are stuffing their pockets with money we passed on and all the guarantees.

Well, anyways, things are exhausted and im sure such was communicated. The company will move on to the pilots and flight attendants. No big deal.

Well you’ve certainly been accurate in your predictions so far, let’s review shall we?
Let,s see, “I have Sito in cuffs there won’t be a contract till after next years election. Then there’s my personal favorite “I’m in charge now!” Or how about there will a jcba in two weeks. There’s been various forms of this one including the current everything is done mantra.

I will concede that if you throw enough chit against the wall something may eventually stick so you may eventually get something right, but your record of predictions or what’s going to happen is rather bleak as there are certainly more than some of your greatest hits I listed above.

Anyone who believes what you say verbatim is pretty much a damn tool.so sad

You are correct, he simply predicts every possible scenario over the course of hundreds of posts with help from some surrogates. When reality plays out with time, he simply cherry picks the most applicable past statements that fit what transpired. He then claims to have "known the outcome" and has accurately predicted it.

This manufactured credibility is then applied to campaigning rhetoric with a spin on "I told you so" statements. The adage that "if you throw enough chit against the wall, at least some will stick" certainly prevails here...

Forget it rat, it’s already too late for you. Great pain, great pain coming your way. You sold your brain and are nothing more than a walking Tin Man. Great pain.

For 100k I’m flying the Tim shuttle to easy street.

I just want to know where do I sign and who am I selling out?

(Consider this nothing more than third party hearsay for entertainment purposes only)

I thought you and Rat were going into the healthcare business?...

This place has become Youtube 2 along with the drama and bickering you get from a 5th grade class during a Pokemon trading session...Tear it up, boys!

You know PIEDMONT I’ve gotten to the point now where I really hope we don’t get a contract for another 4 years.

There are some people out there who have been freaking out about getting a deal pretty much since day one and frankly “some” of them I’m getting a BIG kick out of they’re almost daily anxiety.

Can you picture me as the smart ass kid?

they are. They are not offering any protections to new hires, and they want additional flexibilities. But all of us will be pressrved thru the next contract. Not saying its a great deal but its the last deal. All thats left is chest thumping.

Nope, they are keeping you in your city in your basic classification. That means you may be part time.

Tim, it really don't get any clearer than this. The NC has stated that your basic classification will still be there, but it will more than likely include a number of people getting reduced from full time status to part time status, meaning a cut in hours by about half as well as some other bennies and perks. In the long run it's a way to keep the dues monies flowing although a little less as the take home pay will also be cut in half just because the hours are reduced to PT. It still concessionary.

They always fall from above.

You guys are really piling on the dude.Hope there is enough crow to go around. Gonna look like The Last Supper for you, fitting Tim being a theology major and all

huh?
Its the present reality and its now the road to nowhere. There isnt any more bump coming. Its exhausted. Charlie Brown can write screaming updates about the company, but its not going to be a fart in the wind.
The good news is that there was more on the table than what CB and rez said. Thats a fact. Nobody is losing their jobs and im sure you will see that evidence in the offer, if Sito brings it out.
But i dont believe there is one single additional thing that will be granted from the company. So, its really up to sito what he wants to do from here.

he can stall it and risk 1200 jobs plus TWU stations and also take a lesser deal or he can come to the inevitable vote. Either way, he screwed up. He took the wrong road and cost us our health care. Hopefully doesnt cost us any more but its over. I told people this was a bad dumb path Sito chose but people dont listen.
Tim you and I both know Sito is incompetent and therefore unpredictable but do you think we will see much less vote on a company offer before section 6?

Nah. Not true. Based on what the company put out, there will be no displacement to part time. That is simply fake news created by Sito. Prez and CB must not have seen the actual offers and only went by what Sito told them. At any rate, it's really in the union's hands now. Company has exhausted everything and really doesn't mind if we pass up their last offer. I'm not saying we should accept anything, just stating the facts that it's up to the union at this point.

What is expected to happen is that they will jointly file for expeditious resolution with a mediator, which is a path taken (although not historically successful yet) prior to filing section 6. Expedited negotiations is a resolution process that is rather new and offers a mediator. This process is a 6 month process. At United, the IAM decided not to file for section 6 but to utilize a mediator and work through issues in the expedited process. It failed, and the IAM had to eventually file for section 6 six months later. And the offer give to the IAM ended up being much less than the original offer even though the economy picked up steam.

If you believe 700 and other doom and gloomers saying that the economy is going to tank because of Trump, then we are screwed if that happens and we waited too long. Either way, the wrong path was chosen and it's all downhill from here.

NYer was right. Like it or not, LUS health care will be gone and we can keep stalling but it won't change anything. For me, I love the stall. I get my Saturday sunday in my cushy spot for as long as we don't merge here in ORD. My cushy spot will be occupied by a 40 year employee after merger.
