The company isnt going to budge from this point. They could rearrange and protect the unborn a bit if we pay for it. Management insist that Sito and his boy Baskett give him all scope like they caved at united.
But I got word that Parker is telling the truth, all of us are protected for life, just not new hires. The Iam is wanting to protect those who it doesnt represent much like dems protect criminal illegals.

Tim we need to separate from MTC now trying to mesh contracts with TWU and trying to negotiate 2 seperate contracts is to much for this team too many variables too many things can and are going wrong. Seperate now
I signed my amp card we all should have our own separate union .

I’m sorry Tim but I highly doubt the Company is offering both “Station” and “Status” protection? Although if it meant an almost total decimation of our future work there is the possibility?

By basic classification means lead/cc or agent correct? So if we have 2 classifications we have Ft and pt cc and Ft and pt agent. Your basic classification does not specify Ft or Pt. If I am understanding that correctly, then you possibly could be a Ft agent and be bumped to pt agent and you would still be in your basic classification.

There’s an old saying that if a deal looks to go to be true. These types of offers always come with some type of fine print that they hope you don’t read.

Don’t also forget that the Company thinks the “Long game” while most individual people only look at the “Short term”

I got a communication that i will be posting later. All article, ie., every single article has been seriously upgraded (save health and scope) insomuch that all current employees would be fat and happy. OT up to 2.5 times, 10 holidays, 12 sick days, retiree health bridge up to 5 years, shift differ, $33, $4,000 bonus, 6 weeks vacation, current job for each of us.

Since negotiations have become conversations across the table, that discrepancy should be able to get cleared up with a simple question. Either AA will confirm or deny that is the case or they will refuse to answer which will also speak volumes. Obviously anything AA refused to clarify would be something we would take as the negative.

That's how I understand it Racer.
Your position is protected, but you very well may get moved from FT to PT.
Not sure if a lot of people will go for that, at least not with an open book at will like that.
