Not much to get wrong. LUS can outsource 50% aircraft overhaul. LAA can outsource 35%. LUS medical is superior coverage with lower premiums. So what am I not understanding? My guess is that you don’t fully understand the IAM language either.

I’m not an officionado on the Mtc language, but the way I have heard it explained is that the LUS although it is a higher % it is still more beneficial than the LAA lower % due to the language associated with the percentages. You should probably double check me on that though. Not much to get wrong. LUS can outsource 50% aircraft overhaul. LAA can outsource 35%. LUS medical is superior coverage with lower premiums. Yes that is correct. Our percentage is based on money spent and not man hours. This is very hard to keep track of obviously. LUS is based on man hours. We have been told that the language the association agreed on will be based on man hours which is easier to track. I was wondering if Pittsburgh will survive the next contract?
I don’t trust anything this management team tells us!!!
Matt didn't you hear? No one will lose their job or be displaced from their station according to Mr. Parker. Of course he has also been preaching an ILC ASAP. "We will build a table to negotiate 24/7". Latest Association update has us losing 2500 M&R jobs. I`d put money on PIT not surviving 90 days post JCBA. Just my opinion.

We dont have an offer. Lots of rumors but thats it. When if ever we see something could be a different story. Even if there are 2500 lost, that still leaves over 11,000 still a lot more then at southwest.Just so you guys know; Our management is using your loss of 2500 layoffs or rifs as a tool over here. Is it really part of your current offer to rid of 2500 mechanics if the current offer is voted in???
They are telling mechanics that AA is offering you guys the wages they are offering because they are also getting rid of 2500 of you, is this true or false???
Trust "NOTHING" sir...
