The mechanics have never had premiums and I am proud for them keeping what they have and refusing to go with the teamsters teamcare plan. That would have been a disaster.
The highlights I have seen puts them at 59.30 at DOS and darn near 66 or 67 at top out, 5 years later.
yep. They were very smart for getting the hell out of the Ill Ask Management.

thr truth is alot closer to what Parker said we are goin to get. He sorta just chuckled when he scratched his scalp and said that thats the story and he guesses that maybe section 6 since nobody can really stop the union if they want to prolong his final answer.
Thats the story because we cant do anything about it. Going into section 6 will just do nothing but delay...which I want. There is no exit plan other than just venting. When the union thugs say they are fighting, did you ever stop to think what that means? I mean other than writing dopey weekend updates, we cant do anything plus parker already suggested this is it and his remaining answers are No.

No Section 6 is coming. Your “Fly” said we will have a TA next week.

Check with one of those other voices in your head and you’ll get the confirmation on that.

Im sure you’re in the majority Tim as far as the IAM and delaying is concerned. I’m not sold on the rumor AA is wanting all but loading and unloading planes. And it’s only a rumor until the ASS shows me something in writing from the company that states that. Medical is the IAM members number one concern, and it’s being treated like that.
As CB said, he will first and foremost work for his members, and that means medical.

true, no section 6 but we still have to address it. For those who want to go in section 6, what is the exit plan?
Dont get me wrong, im all good in delaying but im not deluded to think Parker will change his mind and we will get more. I wanted section 6 just to keep what i got.

That may be your interpretation. My interpretation is that working for your members is first securing them jobs. After that comes the other important items such as wages ,healthcare, and retirement.
It was not stated that the company WANTS to outsource all that work. What has been stated is that the company WANTS THE ABILITY to outsource the work that they decide.

I stated previously, now that the company proposed more “ when and where so directed’” language....this is clearly top priority.

why did you guys give up more outsourcing then? Please give me one reason why you support gary petersons statement that he agreed to a fair amount of outsourcing?

What do you mean we still have to address it? If there isn’t going to be a Section 6 filing and we’re going to be getting a TA next week why are we even bringing up any exit plans? What exit plans?

What the hell are you talking about?

I wanted to address Petersons statements and the statements of racer and you about your section 6 comments and sticking together. Do you expect a better outcome if we stalled in section 6, and if so, why?
