Maybe now Weez won’t have to pretend he hates Tim in order to curry favor with the GL.

I don’t exactly hate him and sometimes have even found his psychotically twisted and disturbed lunacy amusing at times. (Sometimes)

WHY do I want to curry any favor with the IAM GL? I’m not planning to move to any IAM city and I absolutely would be 100% adamantly opposed to the IAM ever taking over my wonderful beautiful TWU. Nothing personal to the IAM of course.

If the IAM GL gets a few chits and giggles sometimes over my writings what do you want from me.

And don’t be sore over yer boys loss. Everyone has to lose sometimes. Better luck next time.

Yes, I watched the whole session yesterday. Why?
At one point he stated that no more negotiations were needed (it was subtle) and you guys received the proposal long ago. Of course minor tweaks will happen and have, but are you still of the opinion section 6 is very likely. Parker seemed to think so.

You keep calling me a liar on this forums page. I’m asking you now to please show a post that proves I’m lying. I’m sure a poster with your integrity and credibility will be able to do that. So plz for everyone on here and everyone that reads, find a post to back up your accusation. Mr Credible!
Pretty ironic getting called a liar by AA,s own used car salesman

The company’s last proposal was some movement on scope for the mechanics side. But no improvement on the fleet side. Now I know there are those that believe a very credible poster that fleet is done. But I’m telling you, that the latest fleet proposal from the company, is not worthy of bringing to the membership. You can believe who you want on whether we are done or not.

Didn’t quite answer my question though, CB. Honestly, I don’t think it will ever be done to everyone’s satisfaction.

Negotiations to a negotiating team should never be done to their satisfaction. If it ever is, then we weren’t asking for enough. This doesn’t mean that it’s not a good AIP. I have said this in many break room briefings, that if a negotiating team ever tells you they got 100% of what they were after, then they weren’t asking for enough. Sorry I didn’t answer your question, feel free to clarify and I’ll try to explain in more detail.

I went back and read your post. Yes it is my opinion that section 6 is likely. However I will tell you that is my opinion and not the same opinion that other negotiators have. They think that it is possible to get it done before section 6 in September , so I hope I am wrong on my opinion. Good news is we aren’t far from finding out.

The "Good News" you call it is true, not long at all. Also, I think Parker feels as you do (Section 6) as he referenced the amendable date quickly approaching a few times.

Yes I agree, but Parker also knows there more than likely will be conversations going on before September in hopes of getting it done. I personally just don’t think either side is going to move ENOUGH to get it done before then.

WOW...Some of those many posters come to the same conclusion that CB seems to feel is likely.
I know your calling me out so let me reiterate, I don't think AA will budge on the medical, I don't think the Association will budge on the medical, IMO. Therefore I believe IMO the conclusion would be Section 6 IMO. CB has an opinion of Section 6 is the likely outcome. Dude, you are ridiculous, simply something else. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN W, ANYTHING, but not budging and not moving ENOUGH still ends up Section 6. Your such...never mind.

I wasn’t thinking about you with my comment actually. It was a generalization.

I’m really not as focused on you as you seem to believe. Sorry.

The IAM giving up their good situation would be bad business. I respect that they are putting their members first . Do people really think AA is going to cave on the medical with all the other work groups in the LAA plan? That would be really bad business by AA. The dog of the group is really the TWU, who IMO made a bad business decision to agree to the Association. I recall when the TWU informed the membership about the Association thinking this sounds not good. It's like you had 3 aces in a game of poker and you fold and lose to a guy with a pair of 3's. I don't mean to slight the IAM, as I agree with their holding firm on the medical as a smart business practice. My opinion of the TWU has gone down quite a bit the past few years seeing their bumbling business practices.

Yes the TWU informed the membership that we would vote on the Association.
