Just curious is this source the same that told us you were banging hookers in IAH while repping the IAM? Should we expect more of the same from you once you become “in charge”?

That's awful. That's terrible. I do not like reading that. I feel so bad......for her.

Well if my Local chooses not to hand them out, I’m sure I can finagle a box or two from somewhere and do it myself again if need be.
If I was your President I would donate them to a local animal shelter to be used as wee wee pads.Hell might use one and diaper myself

If Jim Little were still in office my Local President would be hand delivering them to his Members homes.

BTW Al here’s the Doo Rag.

American Airlines Presents Insulting Scope Proposal, AGAIN!July 26, 2018

Brothers and Sisters,

The Association Executive Negotiating Committee met with American Airlines on July 24th in Washington, D.C. to continue the discussion about comprehensive Scope proposals.

During this session, it became very obvious to your committee that the company isn’t hearing your displeasure about their previous Scope proposals. While there was some movement for our M&R group, their strategy on Fleet continues to be presenting us with inadequate Scope language and hoping for a different outcome.

They assume that by waiting us out our Association will eventually crack and accept their substandard proposals. If we were to agree to some of what is on the table, it would essentially leave our members back in the days of bankruptcy. No matter what you hear, without protecting our work, nothing else matters and we cannot waver in our resolve for a successful outcome.

The company continues to allege that they would like to come to a quick and equitable resolution to these negotiations, but their proposals continue to say otherwise.

Now, more than ever, our members need to let the company know that we remain unified and willing to fight for the best contract in the industry.

Fraternally,

Your Association Executive Negotiating Committee

I’m beginning to not see that last comprehensive offer before going in to Section 6 after all?

Well done by the Local 513 and it's leadership to quiz Parker. These updates continue to say Association and I have yet to see any IAM leadership stand up and ask a single question about the contract, healthcare or scope. They even had a mic in the IAM stronghold of CLT today...amazing.

did NYer design that?

They also gave out a shirt last year that had like Ed Hardy style flames on it and flaming pink camouflage shirts for the female members.

Someone at my Local honestly has incredibly tacky fashion tastes.

I just hope they stopped wearing the stupid Cubavera shirts too? Yuck.

A Nother vague update by the Association. Are there more negotiation dates or are we preparing for section 6. Or maybe I should just wait for the next company video to get my real updates

And that my friend is why we are doing our best to end the association. From day one the IAM had relied on its greatest accomplishment, getting the twu so sign this foolish agreement. I.AM. IS JUST M.I.A.

So, does anyone know what the hold up is on scope?
Someone told me that the hold up is the fact that the co. wants to go with LUS outsourcing which is 50% of maint. With LAA currently at 35% of maint. spend the 50% LUS would allow a lot more outsourcing. There are other scope issues at hand that will not be revealed until T/A day. They probably don't want the troops getting restless until T/A day. So they will just continue to keep the membership in the dark as usual.
Sign them cards and get them turned in.
