MX is deadlocked.....The IAM's main concern is the medical, followed by the IAMNPF....They couldn't care much about outsourcing as they work under a greater percentage.
Since IAM is sticking to the Medical and IMAPF in a Association that is susposed to be fair, Then TWU must be brought to even with IAM. Either give TWU a stipend to offset the difference or bring everyone to an equal percentage. Do not touch the TWU Private Pension unless you want to improve it. IAMPF has it's own troubles and I understand they are loooking for American to fund that in some way.

That's would be interesting, even if it's only hypothetical. Only one or two of the Association groups getting a final offer.

Talk about a curve ball.
unless something changes...drastically, only fleet will be voting. Fleet has been done for 10 months and i guess Sito and Alex dont want to push the risk that they were advised of. I know nothing at all about mx but they arent remotely close. My guess, since CLT is now on board with TUL, for the first time, it wont matter as the mx will vote the association out. I tried telling Sito to have the twu pick a craft then the iam the other, but he didnt listen. Mechanic card drive to commence soon and will be complete in less than 60 days after it commences.
They are going with their own union like our pilots and stews.

As far as Fleet, I dont think raiding the Association is the right course, at this time prior to a jcba.

Tim if our TA is voted down and mtc has a successful card drive why wouldn't we attempt to get our own union? No union anything should make a quarter of million and ride around in a private jet

Tonight's meeting is to determine what the mechanics want to do.. I am sure it will be raided., which will only to prove our point of why we need to change representation.
And yes we are going on own but again the meeting is for the removal of the Association. Tim, to what percentage is CLT with TUL?

This is good advice, because when the mechanics are successful Fleet will not be with the mechanics.

Who is included is decided by the National Mediation Board and defined as the Mechanic and Related Craft or Class. This currently includes AMT's, OSM's, Fuelers, Welders, Machinist, Platers, Composite Mechanics, Planners and Schedulers, Instructors, Tech Crew Chiefs, Crew Chiefs....

It does not include Fleet Service Clerks or Material Logistic Specialist.

i personally think mx is holding back fleet. Your craft is dying, due to globalism cutting mx jobs in half. Doesnt help that your unions have agreed with management to whack jobs. Fleet isnt subject to the same global threat so mx has impeded our progress.
The nmb already determined the crafts. Stores and utility are separate. But it wouldnt surprise me if Sito argued to lump stores and utility. I wish your group the best and its long overdue to take up your own flag instead of management/Ass flag.

our ta or offer will NOT be voted down. After a jcba, im sure many may want to follow the same path that our stews, pilots, and mx took.

In a couple months, i know of 2 raids commencing on iam properties, not including the mx raid. Be watchful. They think this is a game and they mess with the wrong people. Just dont listen.

Tim, holding fleet back? From what?
Fleet is very close to industry leading right now, MX is far far behind the industry leaders.
As far as fleet not subject to globalism, no need to go global to replace fleet, those folks are walking across our border daily ready to work for peanuts, no A&P needed, just a strong and willing back.

I think our replacements are already working beside us.

Your right workers coming over border to take fleet jobs while the company brings planes to them south of the border to take AMT jobs sad but true

When LAA Bankruptcy hit Fleet was almost completely decimated and in TUL it was. After watching especially the last 2 or 3 years on JetNet a very large number of Fleet was returned to positions filled, while Maintenance was virtually stagnant. This of course kept the mechanics lower in total positions which have always been the case.
As for the position of Globalization, Maintenance management has told us on several occasions that there is no spaced to do the Fleet Maintenance. Brazil may take our Wide bodies to do overnights. We at TUL 737 have 3 standard Aircraft Docks performing Lites and Heavy to C. We have 2 full-time Drop-In lines and probably 2 Mod Lines performing Satellite System installation. not sure on when these all kick off. I heard we may be looking at some Phase Checks? As for Lumping when the Bankruptcy hit Fleet the members went to Facilities Maintenance or another classification.

On the GoFund Me website, either Jim Little and Sito signed up to give a donation each Sito $25 and Jim Little $30. This is probably just someone's game.

Lol...MX is the reason fleet is making the $$$ they are....I can see highschool kids being recruited, beginning asap for less $$$ or total outsourcing...pay by push, like foreign airlines do in the US...plenty of companies provide cargo and pushbacks....no license no problem...not like MX -A&P licenses required, and FAA regulations...
