Yes a silly pissing match.

Al I have a guy here in MIA that has a bit of a platform or podium as you will to be able to propel his point of view. Currently his mind seems to be focused on a belief that there is a tsunami of “frustrations” out there? I believe firmly that if there are frustrated individuals out there it’s HIM who is fostering that frustration.

I don’t have to lie about this but I’m trying to find out seriously where all these frustrated people are? I’m on multiple Social Media pages and again people are calm and collected for the most part.

All calm here, just the usual crying

Dont be surprised if the Asia routes actually lose money.

first class tickets to nrt are very expensive. the yield on pacific flights may not be the same as phl-buf, but the revenue generated makes up a bit for the much lower yield. regional flights have the highest yield.

this is from january, isom talking to analysts:

Across the Pacific, PRASM was up 1.2% year-over-year in line with performance from previous quarters, while growing capacity by 7.5% with the launch of Los Angeles to Beijing, again our strong premium cabin performance made the material difference.

Thanks for the report Al. Now you’d have to figure if there was any place that would be “frustrated” it would be there in NY.

Guys there need money way more than most other cities do as inflation is murder.

The only “frustrated” people I see are always the same handful that ***** after every post. Many of them I finally just blocked.

Bob as a digraced former electrician and a regular patron to numerous strip clubs and brothels what is your opinion when we will see a signed contract
I highly doubt the company will season the deal to our taste, if anything, they might turn the $3000 to maybe $5000, but that’s it. Maybe early July 2018.

CWA/IBT was going to look at a UPS teamster type healthcare but the great Andy M left the building
Don't you think that was all BS? Most cwa peeps didnt seem to realize they lost their healthcare as the roadshow seemed to lie and say healthcare would be negotiated later. When in fact, healthcare was stripped and the company only said it would consider a future cwa proposal.

LAA has alot of old people like me here We needed the money 15 years ago

Josh,
As a banker, how do you see our jcba unfolding? You think Alex is going to get laa under lus health care as he promised?
Also, do you think 700 will be utilized by Sito again to sell a jcba?

I hope the company is successful in enhancing our retirement but admittedly the iam is hardballing us for further concessions by trying to force us to stay in the awful pension.

Not sure what to expect. My feeling is the IAMNPF should go, get a solid 401K that would pay all hours, also increase each year with steps, longevity and also get more for overtime, shift differentials, etc while the IAMNPF is only straight time.

On healthcare I suspect it will be a balance but ultimately LUS will transition to LAA plans. Yes the LUS plan has stood the test of time but this is the companies opportunity to transition you all to something better in line with the healthcare marketplace for 2018.

I have no idea if 700 will be involved.

Josh

In Fleet of course you have more to lose in that online offer from the creeps. They want your Medical, year round Catering jobs and your IAMPF for what I feel is on the cheap.

who are the 'creeps'?? are they former america west & us air execs., that want to take away and not share with their employees that they sharpened their airline executive skills with?

it's laa's fsc fault that this is occurring and being talked about during contractual abstract thinking time?

though i don't agree with bob's comments, it's ok for lus to tell us they hope this drags on another 6 years?

Can you exchange the dollar rate to lap dances so we can get a better picture

Anyway right now the Company is far away from what you say is adequate on wages anyway. Very far off.

we're not that far apart. i saw your ua + 7% for DOS, and along with modest yearly raises...that would take us to apprx. $36.25-$36.75 at TOS.

toss in c/c or lead premium and shift differential - $39.50/hr for a TOS c/c or lead would certainly leave johnsen shaking his head.
