It's an ongoing process with the Association submitting their briefs for the Contempt case and it is affecting the negotiations, so the information is shared.

Ignoring it doesn't make it to away.

Like I said dipshit, I don't know any mechanic including myself that did anything illegal. The union leader threatened in open, I supported his words , then.. I owned it... then.. The association has failed all of us, then and continues to fail all of us each day. The freaking lawyers are all involved,,,,, now, so stfu.

If you are speaking of Samuelson screaming at Isom at LGA?

"A Brooklyn native, Samuelsen was hired by the New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) in 1993 and was assigned to a track gang in Brooklyn"

I sensed that during his screaming fit that he may not be too familiar with the " RLA " Railway Labor Act as applied to Aviation with his threats to shut down American. I believe that Robert Isom knew exactly that Samuelson trapped himself and the slow down was born. I would not "own" anything they do unless I were allowed to participate.
 
I already knew that. The rumors are rampant with no info what so ever as I have said from the get go. But yet again this pathetic asso will continue to lead this membership into thinkinking they will have an AIP or T/A soon. It's all a lie to try and drive the card drive off the road. GAC people...

Could very well be. It isn't a stretch to believe they called the Negotiating Committee to DC for busy work but also to give the impression something was closer than it may be.

The slowdown was already in full ooeration by time the LGA confrontation took place. The airline filed for the TRO that day or the next day.
 
This supposedly slow down is a bunch of BS . There was no slow down I have talked to several people at different stations, and they seem to be just as clueless. The union should have defended the membership!

24 jets grounded, thousands of less flights/cycles..and the company still beefed up the twu AMT force by nearly 8% in 11 months. how many more iam AMTs did they hire? add those numbers up.

i'd say that the company realized they were short AMTs and maybe, just maybe, operations were negatively affected by a clear lower number of AMTs.

why else would the company hire hundreds of AMTs, after losing thousands of flights this year? to play cards all day?

these guys need to learn how to fight their corner.
 
southwest reached a 'partial' settlement with boeing for 737-max groundings.

$125 million.

all going to southwest employees.

send in the emotional support animals to aa HQ..these guys have to be in shock. all that money to the employees??

Well since this has happened more than once over the last month it’s all BS window dressing.
Just like those lying Democrat’s and their BS impeachment these union leaders come from the same cloth and they are ruining the American worker

Yes, there are 24 737 Max grounded.

The way I read it Boeing settled fully with SW and a portion of the undisclosed amount ( $125M) will be distributed to employees through a profit sharing plan.
The pilots have their own lawsuit against Boeing I believe so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
 
hmmm, and just from the twu side - there are 530 more title 1 AMTs on company payroll on 12-9-19 as compared to january of 2019.

not sure about how many more iam AMTs hired in the past 11 months..but we're talking about aa beefing up twu AMTs by 8% in 11 months.

there had to be a reason for that?? maybe they needed them after being caught short??

why did they need them? someone tell the judge.
Simple. the co. needed more yes voters for a vote on a new contract.
