Shouldn’t you being worrying about the $20 million WN wants from you all while AMFA only has $2 million in cash and assets? Once again the WN mechanic claims to know more than the people in the room negotiating.

Once again WN mechanic the Association brought it to the NMB’s attention, as some of what the company proposed on Jetnet wasn’t ever presented to the Association and some of their proposals weren’t true. The NMB asked the company about it and they agreed with what the Association said and told the company to take it down per the gag order. It will come out after a TA is announced. Prove my statement wrong, something failed to do.
You don’t know Jack about what is going on. So who is going g to handle your assessment and AMFA’s bankruptcy? $20 million is a lot of money when they are only worth $2 million

This statement is absolute proof that this Association is dysfunctional, a complete farce, and needs to be eliminated.

Just read through this thread, membership begging for information, membership begging for control of the situation that has been out of control since the NMB Certification. And all it takes is sign cards, turn them in, and vote to regain control.

What it sounds like is we are getting less than the proposal because of the illegal job action instigated by the screaming bus driver with a bullhorn, and the excuse narrative is going to be that those items which we lost were never really proposed. Lying, cheating, corrupt industrial union asswipes

IF THIS IS EVER DONE! Its no lock this thing will pass. Iam is 1/3 if not happy it will not take many on twu side to reject offer. I want full retro, there is talk the twu will not buy off on that because maint retro would be so much greater than fleets retro wtf.

If it was not for AMFA and Delta we would be making the same as fleet except for license prem.

The IAM is walking all over the twu. Wish I vould direct where my dues go! Give it to a homeless person, I would be better served!

I am just sick of the companies dragging things out for years and then expecting to only get by with pennies on the dollars for the full retro hoping that the membership is just tired of waiting so long for a raise. Stay strong and hold them to full retro and plus some if ya can.

I believe the Mechanics are going to be short of industry leading in some areas. If that’s the case, before voting no, think about how much confidence you have in this Association to correct that, and how much more money you will lose on the gamble giving it back to the Association to correct.

Agree with your thoughts about being careful about going after ILC if it will take another few years to obtain and not so confident with this fiasco asso. in charge.
 
Yes, and agree. I think it is in their contract that the increase comes when the strike hits a certain time frame of still going on. What thru me back a bit was it was only $25 per week more. The 250 is low now, 275 is better yes but I would think 300 per week jump should be in order if they want to keep the members going longer.
Quick question, IF anyone knows: Will the union (UAW) go after striking cost from the company when this is all over with?

Once we ever get a TA to turn it down would be foolish.
I get it many want the best of the best. But how long does that last if that’s what we get. One year two.
We as a group have lost so much already waiting on this BS and it’s time to get it done.
Anything will be better than our current situation, which is falling further and further behind our peers.
I think if and when we get something to vote on it passes easily

Why bother with him? It's obvious he is one of those here on a mission. Just start ignoring the idiot, as he has proven himself on a number of post. It also speaks volumes when another certain poster calls him out that I thought never would as he too is an asso. lover/swallower...

Not disagreeing with you, but I would not be so sure it will easily pass without seeing it first. Me personally, is scared of the changes that MIGHT be being made after the suit and the explosions from the leaders in this asso.. I too am one that thinks the co removed the offers so harder to be compared to once a T/A is out. But, at least Informer was on the ball to think to print it all out to be able to prove them wrong.
Again not disagreeing with you. I am one that not make a call until I have read through the entire T/A and all language before making any kind of decision. The company is just dying to get thru to guys like you that are sick and tired of waiting for something in order to get through a possible lower offer than they have to just to get 50% plus 1. Remember pay is not everything. Language can easily kill out any super pay raises. What worries me about the pay is the co. offered to put the AA AMT's at SWA pay rates at a blink of an eye. This was NOT nego by the asso. at all, so it worries me what they will want in return for the wages and all that will come out in the language and outsourcing, and this is why I am so cautious about the FIRST T/A coming to you guys. PLS read it all not just the highlights. It's the highlights that both the co. and this abortion of an asso. wants the members to see.
