They could have explained what they were doing the last 2 weeks considering everyones hopes were riding high. The last update was frustrating and depressing and im IAM i could imagine how TWU feels.
Yes. At least something. And why is it NOTHING? Concerned about the final results at this point.

REALLY? Are you freakin serious?? These videos you supplied are from 4-5-19 and 8-30-19.
Thay have absolutely NOTHING to do with the last couple of weeks as we were talking about. And Damn near NOT even the last couple of months. This is your "they are giving us more detailed info as of lately" response??? You have got to be kidding...

Very old videos ‍♂️
Exactly.

That's wasn't the point. The point was they didn't exist.

But April isn't old considering they didn't meet between then and now.
No sir. YOU said as of recently they have now been giving updates with details for the last 2 weeks. You lead most to believe that it was very recent that these updates were given, and yet again you are proven wrong. NYer, what is your agenda here?

Tell you what NYer, tell us all when the asso., TWU or IAM has given a valued, detailed or even informational update, and please include any video informative info you might have that some of us cannot get to. The info you provided before was old crap we already knew about, and yes, I have already seen both the two videos you provided.
This membership has had absolutely NOTHING since this posting as far as detailed info to the membership...

WASHINGTON, Sept. 4, 2019 — The TWU-IAM Association today announced that mediation for negotiations in the American Airlines/TWU-IAM Association contract talks will restart on Monday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. ET and continue through Thursday, Sept. 19. The sessions will be held in Washington, D.C. at the National Mediation Board (NMB).

Association principals Sito Pantoja, Director (IAM General Vice President) and Alex Garcia, Vice Director (TWU International Executive Vice President) met with the NMB on Thursday, Aug. 29 to outline the Association’s views on negotiations and to insist that negotiations resume.

“Our meeting with the NMB was positive and we are optimistic that resumption of negotiations will be productive,” said TWU-IAM Association Director Sito Pantoja. “It’s now time for the company to keep its word and give our members the industry-leading contract they promised. I thank our members for their incredible patience during this process.”

“The delays in this process have been frustrating for our members but they have remained fully supportive of the Association,” said TWU-IAM Association Vice Director Alex Garcia. “We will use this opportunity to finally close these negotiations, if American Airlines is a willing partner.”

Itd be nice in 1 aspect...that a deal will be reached. The scary part...what will we lose. N how bad will the deal be for both MTR n Fleet. Thats the unknown

Id love to see more details

Yet again which is why he was relieved of duty at Mia. Knowledgeable, yes...but pro membership specifically his own, hell to the naw! Sadly the TWU is full of these type of sellouts

I would like to see the association commend AA for keeping more work in house then any other airline, then get AA to keep the work they outsource within the USA.

Then maybe the afl cio can form ONE mechanics union, call it AMP (good name) and organize ALL AMTs at airlines and MROs now you’re talking one union one voice.

But much like General Custer at little big horn, the association has split its forces.

What happened to Custer?

The original post was that the IAM NEVER posts details, to which the answer was this time they did.

Don't try to repackage the information to fit a smaller window because the original post was refuted.

Show us where I said "recent."

Their track record for updates is piss poor, usually the bellicose stuff to try and rile up the membership, just a bunch of uneducated crap IMO. Anyone that tries to defend the handling of updates is talking out their arse.

"THEY HAVE THIS TIME"

Have you lost your ability to comprehend the context?

The comment was that they never posted updates in past negotiations.

The answer was, they have this time, as in these negotiations.

Really isn't that hard.
